Hi, Juneli here!
I’m a Japanese graduate student and belong to the section of theatrical performing arts.
My subject specialism is Kabuki which is one of the Japanese traditional performing arts.
I’ m really dedicated myself to the study.
Now I’ m trying to survey completely the document about Kabuki published in early 20th century.
So I go to any libraries which have collections concerned with Kabuki.
The third picture is the Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library which is my favorite place and frequently I go to.
And also I have a part time job in a research institution for helping the professor’s research and train my skill of the research very hard.
Recently, I start to survey in the worldwide!
Not only in the academic activity but in other fields, I’m enjoying my life very much!!
I love watching any performing arts at theatres!
The first picture is only a part of my collection of the theatre program booklets.
I love antique stuff!
In the first picture, you can find out the very small picture of kimono which was handcrafted in early 20th century. So beautiful! Surprisingly, you can wear it even now!
I’m really respected to such a sensitive works and willing to share such wonderful Japanese culture with a lot of people.
I love sharing my time with many people over all differences!
I take part in several study groups or conferences and obtain update information about the performing arts.
The second picture was the scene at the lunch time of the conference held in Taipei last year. (This is me having chopsticks.)
What I’ m really expected on these meetings is to build friendship over the sea.
Actually, ‘’Juneli’’ is my Nepalese name given by my Nepalese friend.
This is one of the memories I cherish. I love this beautiful name so much that I use it for my nickname!
And I often visit the seniors who are my neighbors and spend the wonderful time with them! I run a spick-and-span home. So, I help them with the housework especially cook. Their joy is mine!
