My husband and I are from Austin, TX.

We love cooking, music, eating at great restaurants, and of course, traveling. We try to travel as much as our busy schedules allow. We got married three years ago and made a pact to go to at least one international destination per year. Last fall, we had a great time staying in airbnb locations in Germany, France, Switzerland, and Italy. Sometime this year, we plan to go to Japan, as well as some US destinations.

We love airbnb because it allows us to make friends all over the world. And that's how we will treat our host's places - as the homes of good friends. That is, we'll be quiet, respectful, and clean.

We like to go to museums and see the major attractions, but I think that the most memorable things that we do are always off the tourist track. Like: stumbling into a street fair in New Orleans with the best grilled oysters ever, letting Lao teenagers pose for pictures with our motorcycle, enjoying a late night snack at an izakaya bar in Vancouver where the chefs were drunker than the patrons. Advice from our hosts is always greatly appreciated.

Some specific things we always look for:
- Somewhere to get an espresso
- A good cocktail or wine bar
- Location of a good farmer's market
- Places to see live music
- An inexpensive but delicious neighborhood restaurant
