My family and I love to travel. I actually met my husband (japanese) travelling the world when I set out at 19. There were a few less trips when we had our two children but we feel we have nearly come full circle. Our eldest daughter is 18 and she is living in our home in Brisbane and our 14 year old daughter is here with us in Dalian, China. We are living here for a year for my husband's work. During this one year we are making the most our life here and trying to see and do as much as possible. I'm loving living in China. I get to do yoga every day, have great quality massages weekly and eat great food. Not to mention meet other like minded people along the way. This is the first time we have used Airnib but accidently stumbled across the site last month when I was looking for accommodation in Hong Kong. I was really excited when I saw it. One of my favourite travelling experiences was when we were in West Berlin (a year before the wall came down) and the city was booked out. So backpackers were billeted out to private homes. We stayed with a wonderful guy and we learnt so much more by his valuable experience. I would much prefer to stay in a private home that a hotel. I want to be a host when I return to Australia!
