Micheal was welcoming I appreciate that. The place is good and I enjoyed Harlem. The bed is confortable. The flat is next to the subway and there everything nearby.
The apartment is well located in Harlem in a very safe area. You can find many restaurants with outdoor terrasse around. The metro station is 5/10mn from the apartment, and you can also walk to Central Park if you want to enjoy a 30mn walk to reach it. The apartment is big, and it is like the pictures, so it is very easy to live there for 2 people. However you can feel that the fish tank in the living room is a bit noisy if you are not used to it. Mike made our stay very enjoyable. He was very kind and helpful from our arrival until we leave. For example he came to fix the light in the bedroom and refill the fish tank to make it less noisy. We did not have time to enjoy the garden, but I really recommend this place if you want escape from the more quiet area than midtown. Thanks again to Mike for his kindness.
We had a wonderfull time at the apartment in Harlem. The apartment was very well located (subway around the corner, foodstores, diners). The host Mike made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of information. We had everything we needed. We loved feeding the fish. The garden is really nice too and ideal to relax.
Absolutely wonderful stay in Harlem! Mike met us at the apartment ( even though we arrived much later than anticipated). The apartment is close to everything and public transport is a dream. I'd absolutely stay again if I return to new York. The people in Harlem appeared relaxed, friendly and really helpful. Stumbled on a bar/restaurant named 'Harlem Bar B Que' which served the biggest and most delicious cocktails I have ever had ( and I have had quite a few).
Champs ( on 125th) was exactly the same price for runners as Woodbury Common and across the road the shop was actually $50 cheaper, although didn't have every style with every colour. Needless to say, I bought a second pair of Nike Airmax Flyknits for $129.
Wonderful trip, wonderful stay with a host who was friendly and helpful. Thanks Mike.
The location is great for a Harlem experience. Great cafe called Astor nearby, funky bar called The Shrine just around the corner and easy access to the subway. Annette was helpful and even took us skating in Central Park!! Had the best day there.

The place was just as it looks in the pictures. Great value for money when compared to most other places in Manhattan. The host Mike was great to us and went the extra mile which made the stay very pleasurable.
