Originally from the midwest but have spent 10 years in Florida until moving to Phoenix recently. Love to get outdoors to explore, camp, kayak, canoe, etc.

Great location in the heart of Phoenix. You made our stay very comfortable and made sure we had every thing we needed. thank you!
Very suitable lodgings. Responsive, gracious hosts. Great location. I'd definitely stay there again.
This casita was in a fantastic location in Phoenix for us to go to a concert at the Crescent. Johnny and his wife are the sweetest hosts and gave us great recommendations for food nearby (Matt's Big Breakfast and Cibo!). You will not be disappointed with your stay here!
Great stay for me- nice place, nice neighbourhood. Real easy to deal with Jonny- thumbs up. Thanks guys
After an unplanned hiccup on my cross country road trip, I made a detour through Phoenix and Jonathan was wonderful in providing last minute accommodations. The casita was ready go and it was great to step into the cool space after a long day of being in the heat. I was only there for a night it was the perfect stop. Thanks Jonathan!
This is a great alternative to hotels in the area. The casita is small but cute and fully equipped. We wanted access to a full kitchen, and this is much more affordable than anything else we could find in the area. The location is just a few minutes from downtown, and there are plenty of restaurants within just a few blocks. It's a short walk to the lovely Encanto Park. It's a nice residential neighborhood, perfect for a morning walk. There isn't a whole lot of room in the casita - the hosts use it for storage as well, so most of the closet and cabinet space is occupied. It was only an issue for us since we're moving to town so had a car full of all our possessions. If we had just the typical suitcase, it would have been fine. Also, the internet was a bit spotty. It worked on-and-off for my laptop, but not on my phone. Overall, would definitely recommend this.
For my firs time in Phoenix, Jonathan's house turned out to be the perfect location. The super quiet neighborhood, the amazing park two blocks away, the Art District at 10 minutes by bike (bike that Jonathan kindly lent me) are just a few benefits of the many I enjoyed during my short stay. Nice house, adorable family, super recommended!
We stayed two nights as tourists. A big plus was Johnathan's neighborhood. The Encantado area is super-charming for walks. It's a bit of a hike to public transportation and the Heard Museum, but no problem for us. Hob Nobs, a few blocks away, makes a nice breakfast & has good coffee. The casita is super quiet and feels safe. The bed is very comfortable. Drawbacks for some people: you won't feel pampered. As others mentioned, you are in the family's storage area (though there's room for your things too), polyblend linens, no corkscrew, no tv, air conditioner works fine but is kind of loud. Overall, we had a great time here.
Jonathan and his family were lovely. We really enjoyed them. We hope they come back sometime.
