That was my first expérience with rb&b !!! It was a pleasure. The flat is just at 15 min by walk of the beach and 2 min to the city hall!!! Shay loves his city and was so helpful for me. I was in trouble with my flight and arrived by night but any problem to get there. My journey was cool and Shay is à perfect host and roommate...
The apartment's localization is perfect. It is very close to the square and you can walk to beach by walking about 20 minutes.
Shay is a gentleman and was very helpful to me.
I THANK HIM AGAIN FOR HIS HOSPITALITY AND GREAT SUPPORT
Shay's apartment is exactly as advertised -- beautiful location, quiet, clean, and comfortable. I would stay there again, and would definitely recommend to friends. I spent very little time with Shay himself, but he was super friendly and provided plenty of useful information about Tel Aviv. His communication was always prompt.
Shay (pronounced "shy") is a great host. His apartment is clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location in the city. The room is very nice and was cool at night, and quiet. Shay was always welcoming and when we were both in the apartment, he was friendly and fun to talk to. He knows the city well and can recommend you bars, restaurants, walking tours, sites to see, and much more. The apartment is about in the middle of Tel Aviv so most attractions are a half hour walk at most. If you bicycle there is a very convenient bike rental program called Tel-o-fun which has bike rental stations ALL around the city that you can use your credit card with. For 5-10 nis you can rent a bike and return it at any other station. Shay lives two blocks away from a station, and about a 10 minute walk to the main bus station in Tel Aviv, so transportation is very convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the center of it all and still have quiet and comfort at night.
A very nice place to stay in the heart of Tel Aviv's neighborhoods from the '50's. Yes, in the heart of real & busy Tel Aviv, but quiet as it faces a lovely tree filled court yard. Shay has taken care of all the basics.
Shay was a great host. He gave me a key and I came and left like I had an apartment and a roommate in Tel Aviv for a week. I felt very comfortable relaxing in the apartment and was happy that it's close to everything in Tel Aviv.
A great host! He reflects what is hosting a visitor when away from his/her home! Only one word : PERFECT! Thanks again
Let's start with this not being my first trip to Israel, or many other places. However, I am a female who has never shared an apt on airbnb before. With that said, hopefully all my experiences will come close to this one with Shay's apt! First off, he was extraordinarily communicative, and responsive. All that you see is certainly there plus more. Shay, the host, never had an issue giving directions, or helping me out with any sort of amenity I would need. You really don't need much since it has all, plus theres everything right down the street since it is in a super peak location. What you won't find in many places, Israeli's are open and great but Shay is so personable, friendly, and makes you feel like you're not a stranger in his home. You really do feel utmost comfortable, whether it be watching tv, internet etc. He works, he's there and he's not he has his own things going on as did I visiting. Usually in apartments you need a heater to run in order to get hot water, you ALWAYS had hot water. The bed was extremely comfortable, you have more than enough space, and never butting heads. But I believe not only because the apartment is clean, refreshing, and awesome, but also because that's just the way Shay set his place up to be. I know there are several places to look at when you type in tel aviv, however you are right by even gvirol, dizingoff, every transportation, including getting to and from the airport by train which takes literally 10 mins. It is a prime location, with internet, heat/ac, full kitchen, open space living room, and a private really private bedroom with a host that knows his boundaries yet is fully accessible. Shay's place is highly recommended, I will never hesitate to utilize his place when in tel aviv since it was a phenomenal experience, and staying a hotel/motel/bnb or anything of that nature simply would be a disservice since you have everything including the comfort of the location, the apartment itself, and of course the host Shay. So once again, if I haven't said it enough thanks Shay!!!
