La experiencia de mis suegros ha sido muy buena. Ellos son personas mayores y han encontrado en este apartamento un rincón en Bogotá que han sentido como su propia casa.
Omar's flat was a great home base for our stay in Bogota - an easy cab ride away from central neighborhoods (Candelaria, Macarena, Zona Rosa, Parque 93), the apartment complex is very safe and offers convenient amenities including multiple gyms, a pool, and a small grocery store to stock up on snacks. The apartment does get a little chilly at night but the extra blankets and gas fireplace help warm up the place. Would gladly return here.
Great apartment in a nice building. The view from the apartment is nice and the views from the back side of the building are amazing with sweeping panoramic city views. The only downside is that you have to take a cab to get anywhere which was especially difficult around the holidays.
It was a nice app but the little supermarket don't have vegetables, meat and other things to eat so if you want to cook yourself you have to take a taxi for your shopping and that's 20 min away.
If you are a little bit older than is this app nothing because you have to sit on the ground there is only one sofa and you have to eat on the sofa or floor if you are with more than 2 people.
The T-zone is 30 min away with a cab there are no shops etc were you can go by walking.the refregerator/freezer was not working for the 10 days that we stayed there and it was still not fix when we left so i booked another apartment.
The appartment is rather nice with a good view on the mountains and good furniture/appliances. The noise from the street is very heavy though and this spoiled it for me.
Otherwise a rather pleasant stay.
This was a great apartment to stay in! We were there one week. The views are very nice (of the mountain) and from the building you have great city views. The apt is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owner was good at communicating with us and answering all of our questions. The building is new and has a gym. The pool and jacuzzi were not in working order but will be a nice addition. There is a little grocery store on the property which is handy. It is in a safe part of town and the security in the building is great. There is a bus that comes every 20 minutes to pick you up if you don't want to take a taxi. The location is great for getting anywhere in town and avoiding traffic jams--which is a huge plus. The apt has pretty much everything you would need. It would have been nice to have a microwave and an extra set of keys so we could come and go separately. There is a washer but no dryer so clothes take a while to dry. There is no desk or table--and only 2 chairs in the kitchen/dining area. There were 4 of us so we sat on the couch to eat and used the kitchenette for our computers. In general it was a great apt and location and we would stay there again!
We had a wonderful stay in Bogota and were pleasantly surprised to see how beautifully the apartment was maintained! We were picked up by Omar's mother and sister, both very courteous and nice! Our first impression of the people and the city stay true to its nature during the duration of our trip. The building was not only beautiful but was also very safe. In terms of getting around in taxis, the fare to get to the apartment or different parts of the city were extremely fair. Thank you Omar for being a fabulous host!
We had an wonderful time in Omar's apartment. The apartment is very modern , well located and very clean. Omar and his mother Helka were very responsive and very helpful.
I will definitely come back!!!!!!
Omar's place was exactly as we expected it to be. It was clean, large/spacious, and comfortable. His sister was lovely and gave us some great tips on what to do / how to get around which was awesome.
The only downside was the location. Being unable to speak Spanish, it was quite difficult to get around or call a taxi. It is in a beautiful area, but I would personally not walk all the way down the hill to get to the more bustling part of town. Cabs are fairly necessary.
Overall, it was a great place and we would definitely stay there again.
Nicely appointed apartment, with super comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The saunas and pool in the building are fantastic for relaxing after walking around exploring Bogota all day. Omar's mom is sweet and helpful, as are the front desk people. The only issue for us was location. The apartment is located on a major highway, with no way to walk anywhere. Taxis are necessary to go anywhere. This is fine unless it takes almost an hour to call a taxi on busy weekend nights and during lunch hour. But unless you'd want to go in and out all day, then this is a good, central location.
Omar stayed with me for a couple of days. He was a nice, quiet, clean and friendly guest. It was a pleasure to have him around!
Omar is a kind and nice person, hosting him has been a pleasure.
I recommend him without any doubt.
I had the pleasure of hosting Omar and his group for New Year's Eve at the house! Him and I had several conversations prior to and during his stay and everything went very smoothly. There was a little problem with the unlocking the door but that was resolved fairly quickly. They were a great bunch and I definitely look forward to hosting them again!
