Jas is great, her place is great, very conveniently located in Clinton Hill, one block from the E train and a few blocks from the Q/Barclays Arena.
Full disclosure:I know Jas through mutual friends (though we've never actually met)
Check in was a breeze, the place was super neat, plus she told me to feel free to raid her fridge :))
Jas made the simplified process, and was easy to communicate with her - quick to reply. The apartment is in a great part of brooklyn - near C and G and walking distance to so many great places to eat - cafes, bakeries, grocery stores, local food shops and restaurants. The apartment is on 4th floor and is a cozy one bedroom. You enter into a eat in kitchen/living space which is flooded with natural light, there is a small but efficient bathroom off to one side and the bedroom - has a big window, too. The windows overlook the back of the building and lead out onto a patio oasis - with her own garden -- great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee watching the sun rise over the buildings and listening to the birds chirp.
There is a small desk in the living space - worked great to set up computer and access wi-fi when planning the day or checking in at night. There is also access to a gas stove if you feel like making breakfast - I just hit up all the great local cafes.
This sweet little Clinton Hill apartment was just what I needed! The neighborhood feels friendly, it is convenient to transportation, and Jas's place is cozy and home-y (even when it's snowing in April!). It's located on the fourth floor of a charming old building on a small, one-way street. The apartment is two rooms + bathroom. Climb out the living room window to find a huge outdoor rooftop full of plants and a little seating area.
I loved the neighborhood - many great cafes and small shops and a really nice Saturday market... In just a few days, I somehow became a regular at the little Italian wine bar / restaurant in the corner. :)
Jas was very responsive and a generous host! I would definitely stay there again and recommend Jas's apartment to friends interested in having a NYC experience that leaves you with a sense of what it's like to live in Brooklyn.
Excelente huesped, esperamos tenerla nuevamente. Un agrado!!!
