Grew up in Ohio. Now I call Chicago home. I'm an artist across various mediums and a yogi. I love to travel, explore, and meet other adventurers. Keep on, keepin' on, my friends.

Stephanie was a great hostess and her place was exactly how she stated in the description. We did not need to interact much but when we did about arrival/departure times she was very responsive. Her home was a comfortable place to stay in the Logan Square neighborhood and would definitely stay again on a visit to Chicago.
This was a pleasant experience. Easy check-in, full selection of condiments in fridge and nice beds. Parking was always easy and free.
Stephanie`s flat was nice and spacious and exactly like the pictures. It was just a short walk from Logan square, the place where we spent most our time in Chicago. And what a time it was! The area is full of great restaurants and cafès, and Stephanie gave us great directions. Thanks!
My partner and I, plus our dog stayed here for a week between the sale of our condo and our move to the west coast.
The space was perfect for our needs. The apartment was very roomy and had all the comforts and conveniences of home. We only used the main bedroom, but that bed was probably one of the most comfortable I have slept on in a long time. The studio space in front is interesting, but didn't serve much function for us other than a place to keep our bags. So we spent most of our time in the kitchen and bedroom which was plenty of room for us.
Stephanie was great. We never actually met, but she was very responsive to messages and any questions we had. And was able to accommodate our somewhat last minute request for the booking after our original plans fell through.
The apartment is in a good location, being probably less than 1/2 a mile from the hub of Logan Square. It is an easy walk straight down one street to the train. And then right around that the restaurant/bar options are extensive. We had our car with us and parking was never an issue, even with the major road construction taking place out front during our stay. Plus the neighborhood is safe, we had no problems even during late evening walks for the dog.
All and all a great experience and we were very happy with our stay. Would highly recommend this listing for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Logan Square where you can feel at home.
This place is in a great location, walking distance to some great restaurants and shops, and to the Blue Line. The bed is amazingly comfortable, and the movement space in the front of the apartment is certainly roomy - she provides 2 yoga mats for guests. The water pressure in the shower is less than adequate, and if you're one who is bothered by upstairs neighbors, be forewarned there are some.
This was my first airbnb experience and I gladly must report that it was a great one. Stephanie was nice enough to let us check in early. She was accommodating and friendly. The bed was comfy and I love the Logan square area. I accidentally lost the keys ands Stephanie did not fret, she was understanding. She truly was the hostess with the mostess :)
We had a great time with Stephanie! She was a kind, generous host and her home was welcoming, spacious and well cared for.
The space is funky, beautiful and organized. The bed was a supportive form-molding mattress, which was a real treat! We slept well, even on Fourth of July. The kitchen was clean and super well-stocked, and we had fun cooking and having brunch in the large dining/living room.
Thank you Stephanie for being a fabulous hostess!
Stephanie was a wonderful host! The place was very easy to get to using public transportation from O' Hare airport and when I met Stephanie and checked in, she hung out for a while and gave me a really great list of places to check out in the neighborhood. While I didn't make it to all of them, the places that I did make it to were spot-on.
The room was exactly as pictured and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. Excellent combo of air conditioning plus a fan, which I appreciated as it's been a while since I've been in heat like Chicago summer heat!
The location was really central and convenient as well - very close to the Blue Line with a lot of great spots in walking distance too.
My only regret about this spot is that i didn't get to hang out with Beau (the dog) more! I absolutely recommend this listing for a person or couple who needs a comfortable, convenient place to crash while visiting Chicago. Thanks Stephanie!
Steff saved the day! I had a wedding on a Saturday in Logan Square. Having been warned about the construction on the Kennedy Expressway, I was hunting for a more convenient location than the downtown hotel options. Steff replied promptly and made arrangements easily, with a very reasonable rate. The flat is a unique, comfortable space, and Steff's dog is the sweetest. From O'Hare, the Blue Line takes you to Logan Square, and it's an easy 10-15 minute walk to the apartment. I'm so glad I chose to stay in the closer, cheaper, and fun-to-explore Logan Square area for my short visit.
We had a great time staying at Stephanie's apartment. It's a short walk to the Logan Square L stop and lots of great bars, restaurants, and cafes. The space itself is very clean and comfortable, and located in a beautiful neighbourhood. Stephanie was an excellent host -- she checked in frequently to make sure everything was OK, but mostly left us on our own to explore the city. She was also very accommodating when our delayed flight caused us to arrive to her apartment quite late on a weeknight. We would definitely stay here again.
Stephanie was a great guest! We had a brief chat, and she's very personable. AND stripped her bed and folded the sheets! I would absolutely host her again anytime!
Steff has been one of my closest friends for a few years now and is the most wonderfully friendly, genuine and caring person. I've spent countless hours in a car with her, and a week in New Orleans (sometimes in close quarters with three or four other people) and it was an absolute joy the whole time! She was always beyond respectful of our hosts and very considerate of everyone in the group.
As a host, Steff is outgoing, welcoming, and always making sure everyone is having a great time. Her apartment is a very cute, spacious studio (think slightly smaller size one bedroom as opposed to a cram-everything-in-one-little-room type of studio). There is much more privacy than a typical studio. And the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Wins all around!
I've know Steff for years - sincerely, an awesome chick.
As for the apartment, I've seen it in person and it's one of the cozier studios in town.
Writers desk + Parisian style cafe table = perfect spot for a some Hemingway-esque expatriating in the windy city.
