I'm an artist, curator, embroidery designer, and costume designer. I have a mini farm that I started to not just save money on organic produce but to also, cut down on the pollution caused by importing food from far away places like Chili. I spend most of my days toiling away in the studio or the garden. I love this town. There lots of stuff to do and see. It's quiet and safe. And there are so many trees, it really stands out from other cities.
I love to bake and cook when I get the chance. Often there is fresh bread baking away at my house.
I am currently doing chemotherapy so, I have good and bad weeks. Because of my compromised immune system, I am very selective at this time of who and when I have guests stay with me. I take all sorts of precautions to protect myself and others after each chemo treatment. I'm also blocking out the super icky days from being available, so I don't inconvenience anyone. Even on my good days, I get fatigued easily, so I have to pace myself and avoid certain tasks. On my great days, I am running around with my head cut off, trying not to fall further behind.
