We had a wonderful time. The place is perfect for two people, everything worked well. We liked the neighborhood, good food, a lot of interesting galleries nearby. Bonus: Subway in front of the house. What more do you want?
This apartment is fantastic! Spotlessly clean and the host was so easy to deal with! a HUGE apartment with amazing views. The sunniest NYC apartment I have ever stayed at. the tempurpedic bed was so comfy and the apartment is in a very quiet doorman building. I slept so well. The neighborhood is amazing and Jill gave me great recommendations on where to eat. Blue Ribbon Sushi at the Lower East Side Thompson Hotel was so delicious and it was a quick walk away. Orchard street is two blocks away and is full of the best galleries, cafes and shops. There is so much shopping on the Lower East Side and is all walking distance. The subway is RIGHT across the street and the F traingoes straight to the west village, MACYS 34th st, bryant park and times square. We took the F train to bryant park and went ice skating. But most of the time we just stayed in the neighborhood near this apartment. I loved this apartment so much and will stay here again!

We were looking for somewhere safe and secure to keep our things and sleep. A very comfy bed and great location. This place was fantastic, nice bathroom and kitchen too!
Jill was fantastic, just an email or call away.
This apartment is a great. Although I didn't meet Jill she was readily available by phone with any questions I had. The key drop off and pick up was simple and the apartment looks just like in the photos. We were 2 girls and the apartment was spacious enough for us both. The subway is directly across the street and was very handy. Would absolutely recommend the apartment
Spic and span apartment very conveniently located. My short stay was most comfortable and I would certainly like to rebook if visiting New York in the future.
Sadly the wifi was not working which was the only off putting aspect of the stay.
Jill's place is very comfortable and quiet. We felt right at home as she has all the creature comforts. Jill is a great host and happy to help with any questions about the apartment or the neighborhood. She was prompt in her correspondence and was able to fit us in at 24 hours notice! Life saver.
The building is nice enough with friendly door staff. The location is right in the bottom of china town which is a very different experience from soho or the meatpacking district where we had stayed previously.
There are some great spots close by though; Ludlow St, Orchard St above Grand St is a great up and coming area with lots of great cafes, restaurants and bars.
Being from New Zealand we are obsessed/addicted to good quality coffee and there is an amazing coffee shop called Cafe Grumpy at 13 Essex St just above Canal St.
We would definitely recommend this place as an oasis in NYC. If this is your first trip to nyc though the location might be a bit far south for all the sightseeing you will want to do. The Subway does stop across the street though.
I just rented this apartment last week with a friend because we liked it’s location to start a bike ride through the city. It’s blocks away from the Brooklyn Bridge (THE best view of the city) and the stunning East River Bikeway. We were looking for a place to drop off our bikes, what we didn’t expect was to enjoy the apartment and neighborhood so much. The bed was amazingly comfortable after hours and hours on a bike, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all the stuff we bought throughout the day (including some stuff directly across the street). The photos don’t do the view justice - one night at dusk we turned the chairs around to face the windows and downed a bottle of wine. We planned one night for barhopping, yet never left Bar 169 (1/2 block away) because the place was so fun. The next day, while looking for suggestions for other bars on the opposite side of town, our bartender’s first choice was Bar 169.
We had to take a large truck with us, but there was a safe, open lot three blocks away for $26 a day. The best part was the fact that we could walk to Katz’s Deli.
I’ve already booked some time in June.
This place is amazing! The huge windows have great views, it's the perfect size for relaxing after a long, NYC-filled day. Convenient to the subway, taxis are close by, and lots to see just when walking! Highly recommended, and will return!
