This can't be as hard as online dating profiles. I hope.
Let's see. Mostly what I like is architecture. Especially new, cutting-edge stuff. An example would be that I was WAY more excited to see the CCTV Building, the NCPA, and the Bird's Nest than the Summer Palace or Temple of Heaven in Beijing. But I also love history. Especially European colonial history. Big fan of the French Art Deco stuff in Cambodia, for example.
I look for neighborhoods, big civic spaces, parks, harbors, and major activity centers. I prefer cities but interesting natural areas are also nice. I do not care in the slightest for beaches or little villages.
I love to read nonfiction, and the Kindle is always along with me. I love my terrible 90s-era pop music too--I am the opposite of a music snob. I prefer cheap and quick when it comes to food, and I always try the local KFC because why not?
My habits are organized. I don't like piles of stuff, and I don't like messes--so I won't make them or leave them in your place. I generally hate mornings and it's my goal when traveling to never be out of bed before 10. The only 2 things I absolutely require are functional aircon and hot water in the shower.
I don't smoke, I rarely drink, I never take any kinds of drugs. I have little interest in 'partying'. My goal in traveling is to learn new things and see new places.
I'm pretty sure I do not have a motto.
