Nomad. Daydreamer. Philosopher. Writer. Pilgrim. Princess. Traveler. Explorer. Adventurer. Cupcaker. Sneezer.

I believe in joie de vivre.

I have a background in travel features, musician interviews, travel and festival photography, and other human interest stories. I've written for publications ranging from The Anti Tourist to Austin Lifestyle Magazine to VentureBeat to the Irish Examiner. I've declared 2014 as my year to write my biggest stories yet.

I just launched my own editorial travel & music site called Pilgrim Magazine: (website hidden).

"Pilgrim Magazine is more than thoughts and musings on travel and music. It is a way of life. A way of living. A way of sculpting each day into a journey.

We seek meaning and adventure with reckless abandon. We explore without fear. We take wrong turns, determined to get lost. We wander and absorb, crossing lines and borders.

We live without bounds.

We’re hydrated by experience and nourished by perpetual curiosity. Discovery and wisdom become our vitae – the causatum of a life well-lived.

We’re along for the music, the lessons, the mischief, the {mis}adventures. We’re along for the ride that is life. Ride on, pilgrims, ride on."

I'm also editing + wordsmithing a local ATX author's second book: Return to Post River, The Last True Frontier. And I've also just begun a second book project—a coffee table book—Street Dogs of the World—advocating for the welfare of our street dogs around the world. Once published, part of the proceeds will go to nonprofits supporting similar causes.

I write, volunteer with the elderly, and spend my free-time frolicking around the world, drinking wine, rocking out, getting lost, petting stray animals, dancing in the rain, and pondering life things.

Ciao ciao!
