Happy to help the people to travel in Mongolia.
This place is actually a hostel, and priced accordingly so it is a good place to stay if you don't plan to spend much time in the room. However, there are also 2 private rooms which offer a more typical airbnb experience. The location is very convenient, just behind the State Department Store, and there is a well stocked kitchen for cooking or food storage. Books, dvds and a television are also in hand. Most importantly, there is wifi as well as a computer that is free to use for guests, which was not mentioned in the description.
The host was was very accommodating and friendly, and she will do laundry twice a day for a small fee, which is absolutely necessary in this town.
The only con is that there is only one washroom so when the hostel is full (max 12 people), there is a bit of a line up to use it, and the cleanliness can degrade quickly depending on the other guests.
I'm a huge fan of Eiggy and the Mongolian Steppe, it is an amazing place to stay and a wonderful friend to know in Mongolia! : )
I know Eiggy for as long as 7 years at the moment. From the very first time I came to Mongolia to take part in Rally Mongolia, I stayed at her places. And will stay if I come again:) She is very nice person, always ready to help. Highly recommended host!
