we spent there 5 nights, the location was great, the flat was clean, nice orgenized and very cozy, we got everything that we needed from the big to the small bits, thank you Jacob .
Perfect location to stay in London for business or tourism. The flat is comfortable and offers anything you need to feel at home. Jacob is a great host. I would definitely recommend his flat.
We spent 7 days and the apartment was very good. Great location and every thing we needed.
Jacob's place was wonderful! Clean, comfortable, and in a good location. Jacob was there to great us (as was a bottle of wine and a box of chocolate) and he fully explained everything to us. He provided us with Oyster passes for the a Tube (a major help!) and a map of the city. He had a great suggestion for how we should spend our first night in London. The location is great: near many places to eat and King's Cross/St. Pancras. It's an ideal location if your next stop is Paris and you're taking the Chunnel. However, if you plan on going out to dinner and need to come back and change, it can cut your day short, since you need the time to go back, change, and go back out again. This is a mere geographical/logistic concern. At King's Cross you can easily catch the Tube, the train, or a taxi. I highly recommend it!
Great place to stay, very well equipped and just as described in the listing. Only a short walk from Kings Cross or Angel which is perfect for getting around. Jacob made me feel very welcome on arrival and left me with a bottle of wine and biscuits to settle in. As I was on my own for this trip I was really glad to feel very secure in the flat even though it is on the ground floor. The garden is really nice to have and is well enclosed.
I lived in London for many years so I know the area well and I was using the flat while over for business. My only (very small) niggle was that there was no TV which would not have been an issue if I was there for holiday but would have been nice to have when I was working in the evenings. This is just a really small point though and as the flat has very fast wifi if you have a computer or tablet with you then its not a big deal.
Would recommend and will gladly stay here again.
I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. I was there for an entire month, working at the nearby British Library, and it was just as the photos depicted it. (Actually, it was even nicer, as the bathroom has been recently remodeled!)
The apartment has everything you need: a very comfortable bed; a hot shower with a nice deep tub for long baths; a kitchen with a washing machine and a washer and dryer; and a secluded little garden where you can eat breakfast and relax with the sunlight on your face. And despite its very central (and convenient) location right by St. Pancras Station, it's in a quiet area off the main roads. All in all, I highly recommend staying here!
Visiting London for the 1st time we were happy that Jacob turned out to be a very hospitable and a very polite host. The apartment was right as it was described. The location of the apartment is also extremely convenient for visitors – Zone 1, all sorts of transport, within easy reach of most famous sights. In other words, we’ve enjoyed staying at Jacob’s apartment greatly!
Great stay and very close to Kings Cross. There was three of us and the sleeper couch was great! Well appointed flat through out.
My time in this apartment was awesome. They had a lovely place with everything that we could have needed. There were some awesome extra gadgets that they had for is that made our time in London very convenient. The apt was bright and the kitchen big enough for our needs. Being on the north side of town, it was a little bit out of the way. But it was so close to the main rail station, it wasn't hard to get around. The only thing is I wish we had multiple keys, because the people I was traveling with weren't always together but, other than that, we had a great time.
As for the place itself, Jacob's flat was extremely well-located, spacious as it was said in the other reviews, and clean. I have heard from my friend that it is hard to stay in a big flat in London since the real estate is very expensive. With that said, the flat is well-spaced out, and nearly all the home appliances were working.
As said in other reviews, we were warmly greeted by a bottle of wine and a box of chocolate. The check-in and checkout were very smooth, and Jacob is a very accommodating host. He had great recommendations for restaurant and other places nearby, and as he said, Angel in Islington, just a few stops away from the bus, is an adorable neighborhood.
Our stay in Jacob's flat was one of the main things that made our stay in London a very pleasant one. I hope to come back in the near future.
Howdy y'all! Jacob is an absolute doll. Don't miss staying at his super cute flat. I've known Jacob for years and I've never known him to be anything but an absolute joy to be around.
As you would expect from a good friend, when Jacob has ever stayed at my place, he is perfectly polite, relaxed and a fun guest. He always arrives with lots of lovely goodies to contribute to my household, but more important brings his goodness of spirit. He is welcome anytime.
I visit London for business fairly regularly and on occasions, depending on availability, I will stay at Jacob's beautiful flat, which I always find clean and inviting. He will usually have a meal ready for when I arrive, which makes a warm hearty atmosphere to catch up and enjoy each others company, just lovely.
As the flat is centrally located, it is usually a great base to conduct my self from, near to most of my meetings and handy to pop back to when I have had enough of London's hustle and bustle.
As Jacob is over and above good natured and can offer an excellent accommodation in London, i can easily recommend his flat as a very convenient and pleasurable place to stay.
Jacob has stayed with me in the USA, both on the east and west coast, and we also have done two extensive road trips. The first was traveling across the US with a vintage Airstream trailer, where he took photos that became part of an exhibition in London and now NYC. He was an amazing travel buddy and friend, can't give him enough praise!
