After owning our own business in the Boston area, we moved to Cape Cod and got involved in art and antiques. Roy is a past president of the Cape Cod Antique Dealers Association and a past vice president of the Cape Cod Museum of Art. We continue to have an active business exhbiting at antique shows throughout New England, primarily showing artworks.
When we were moving here in the late 80's, Sheila got involved in the hospitality industry, first as a charter-bus tour guide and then in local resort hotels, primarily as the Hotel Concierge. Naturally, the apartment contains a wealth of information, including "Self-Drive Tours" covering the Cape and including Cape History and some 'hidden gems' not always found by visitors.
On a daily basis, we enjoy walking through our village and down the beautiful warm ater beach, only 700 yards from our home. We love good food, wine and travel, especially to new places around the world, which we try to do at least twice each year. Some of our favorite trips have been to Egypt, Israel and the rental of a villa with 2 other couples in a hill town outside Florence, Italy. As we move through our 'senior years' we are trying to live by the idea that it is time not to buy things, but to buy experiences that will be with us the rest of our lives.
Our combined family of 7 adult children live everywhere from here on Cape Cod to the Boston area to Connecticut to New York State to California and to Melbourne, Australia. We much enjoy the visitors we've had in our apartment over the last 7 years, including their many furry friends. Our greatest compliment is the high number of return visitors who stay here for a week in the Summer. We have tried to provide a space that is pleasing and comfortable to be in and well appointed to meet guest's needs
