Janet booked my home for her family of 10 when they came to Berkeley for a wedding. The family's visit was well organized by Janet's mother, Julie, and her logistics master husband, Joel. They are a conscientious family, who respect and embrace the need to minimize any unwanted impacts on the home and neighborhood. They arrived promptly at their check-in time, listened attentively during the house tour, sweetly reassured me that they would take good care of my home, and even posted a "shoes off" sign for their family. During their stay, there were no problems with noise or other impacts on me or the neighbors. They managed their waste properly, sorting it into the recycling and compost bins. They checked out on time, followed the check-out checklist perfectly (and then some), and left the place tidy, with no breakage or other issues. They even left me a nearly full case of sugar cane root beer (yum!). Janet's family were model guests. I'd welcome them back anytime they'd like to stay, and they have my highest recommendation as guests in your home.
