This was such a beautiful place to stay in Portsmouth! We had so much space and really enjoyed the lovely backyard patio and gardens. Thanks for making our 4th of July weekend extra special!
The listing was everything we hoped for and more! Abigail was a superb host and provided us everything we needed. We hope to visit again!
We had a terrific time here with Abigail and Jeffrey. Great, quiet spot just a few minutes from the center of town. Beautiful room and gardens. Special thanks to Jeffrey who drew a detailed map for us with a great bike route that we enjoyed, right out the back door!
Abigail was a very caring and friendly host. The room was full of delicious snacks and the bathroom is well stocked. The room also looks warmer and cozier than reflected in the pics!
My boyfriend and I were in Portsmouth for a wedding this June and stayed at Abigail's home for one night. The place was perfect and we had a wonderful stay! Abigail greeted us upon arriving while she was working in her garden! The actual space was everything we hoped for. The interior was very well decorated and clean, just as the pictures depicted. We also had time to sit on the back porch and enjoy the garden. It was all so beautiful! If visiting Portsmouth again we would absolutely stay here and highly recommend it to others.
We had a great time at Abigail'a and Jeffrey's place! Everything was perfect and they even provided us with toys for our toddler's to play! They loved it and so did we!
We were charmed by Abigail and Jeff's peaceful home! Our bedroom/bathroom suite was connected to but separate from the rest of the house, and was well stocked with everything we could desire for a light breakfast (coffee, muffins, fruit, etc.) and for bathing needs (soap, shampoo, conditioner, linens). The porch out back was a huge plus, with comfortable furniture, the lovely garden right there, and sea breezes to cool us off. We are fairly private people, and Abigail and Jeff were very sensitive to that, basically leaving us on our own (though Jeff did gave us a great run-down of some local sights and things to do). All in all, a close to ideal experience; highly recommended.
We loved our weekend stay at Abigail's. The space was so tranquil and great for a weekend get away. We brought our dog and they even left some dog treats out for him. The location is great and just out of downtown so it's quiet and peaceful but not far enough that you couldn't walk. Nothing is better than sitting on the deck enjoying coffee in the morning. We are already trying to plan a weekend to come back.
My stay was very nice. The Cooper's sent me easy to use directions in order to find their place. The house is in a very quiet, safe neighborhood in Portsmouth. The room had a beautiful porch attached to it surrounded by a lush garden of flowers and plants. The room had a coffee maker, fresh fruit and a refrigerator with drinks. It is very charming and cozy
Abigail has an amazing home in beautiful Portsmouth. The garden in the back with the proch and garden seating is so cute and perfect for the beautiful weather this time of year. We walked into the space and couldn't believe the amount of room we had and the full bathroom was just gorgeous. My friend and I were out and about all day/night so we didn't get to meet Abigail, but our stay in her home was just perfect. I would most certainly book with her again in Portsmouth since I visit the area often.
