The place was nice and clean and pretty spacious. I liked my stay there overall. However, the stairs to the loft are quite steep and narrow so it was very difficult to climb up, and climbing down was even harder. I decided to sleep on the pull-out couch instead, though it was not as comfortable as the bed. The apartment is in a good location though it was sometimes noisy in the mornings. There's also a restaurant right in front of the entrance to the building so you often have to walk by people eating to get in/out which was sometimes awkward but not a big deal. A drying rack for the dishes would've made cleaning the dishes easier. Oshri was responsive to questions, and overall I enjoyed my stay.
We were welcomed by Oshris father, who gave valuable tips and information on what to see in the surrounding area and how to get around. If you want to explore the city by foot, the flat is a perfect starting point. You will need 5 min to the beach, 2 min to Carmel Market, and between 10 and 30 min to any of the sights. The flat itself was great: it was significantly larger (and cleaner) than any standard hotel room, and included a fully equipped kitchen. Booking is highly recommended.
Perfect place for travelers visiting T-A. This flat is located really next to the beach. On the other hand you may reach after 20 minutes walk the most important parts of T-A. Photos are real. Moreover, Oshri is really helpful - during our initial meeting he gave us valuable tips about most important places in neighbourhood. What is more he is flexible even in case of late arrival.
Thanks to Oshri, we had a nice and pleasant stay in Tel Aviv. The appartment was exactly as described and is situated in a nice and lively area close to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place for the value, fantastic location, vibrating area and very close to the beach, friendly and communicative host.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich und willkommend empfangen. Die Wohnung ist bei Dunkelheit im Gewirr der Gassen um den Markt nicht leicht zu finden. Aber mjit etwas Hilfe ist es gar kein Problem.
apartment clean and very similar to the photos. the owner is very nice and very available to us. I recommend this apartment.
The host was very nice and helpful. He provided us with much information about the areas nearby and where to buy groceries or wash clothes.
The description of the apartment was accurate.
Due to bad weather it was a little cold in the apartment, there is a climate but its not very helpful in terms of heating the flat.
But all in all it was very cosy and we liked our stay in Tel Aviv - the neighborhood is very cool and familiar, to have the market nearby is simply awesome and the beach is within 5 minute walking distance.
I guess we picked one of the best places to stay in Tel Aviv :)
I was welcomed by Nathan, Oshri's father, who was very nice and hospitable.
The location is very interesting - between Carmel market and the sea. So, you're close to everywere. In the house there is a small place where you can eat (they say) one of the best houmous in Tel Aviv. On fridays when you open the door of the house, there are people sitting at the table of cafe right in front.
The studio is very proper. It's on the 2 floor, under the roof. There's a small kitchen and a vast bathroom. The apartment is light - there are small windows everywhere they are needed and rather large, looking west in the dining room. I loved the entresol bed with a window beside looking east (so the sun wakes you up early). From the entresol you can see a big part of Yemenit Quarter thanks to entresol and dining room windows.
It was sad to leave this house, Tel Aviv and Israel, but I hope to come back one day. I would like to thank Nathan and Oshri for such a nice place to live and I would shurely recommend other travellers to stay in this wonderful flat.
Oshri is a very kind a polite guy, respectful and interested. It's a very big pleasure host him and share my house with him.
Meeting Oshri was really great. He is very open minded and knows a lot about Romania. I do recommend him for everyone.
Very polite and lovely guest. highly recommended.
Oshri Segev is a reliable and a very polite gast. He keeps contact with you and your apartment will be in good hands. He also left the house clean. I was glad to have him in my house.
