Virginia and her family were so lovely and gave us the feeling of being welcome and home. Virginia is such a warm and friendly person and we enjoyed our 2 nights in her family. She prepared such a delicious breakfast for us. The house is beautiful and wonderful located- the possibility of using the kajaks was amazing. Thanks to Virginia and her family- we would always recommend this accomodation.
It was such a lovely stay at your place....not only is your place beautiful but so well kept and provided for . To top it all you and your family are warm and loving and made our stay that much more special. My kids say Gold Coast was the best place in Australia and I am pretty sure it wasn't just the theme parks :)

Virginia have a very warm hearted family, and house is very neat, she arranged a delicious breakfast ,even carefully prepare for the swan's breakfast. My English is not enough to express my satisfied of this family and the house. If I could rearrange the trip, I would be willing to arrange for two more days to live here, only in the balcony to see the swans and doing nothing ,that feeling is really great..
the house is better than the pictures showed on webiste.
and the family's nice can be feel only when you live with them.
We had a great time in Virginia's house. Virgina is a very nice host, she help us to find the bus and transport. We stayed 3 nights, and feel like home here. Morning, we had breakfast by the riverside with lake view even it is rain, that was so relax. specially we love that coffee & bread(forgot the name) and fruit. The bedroom, it was very comfort.
Staying here gave us an unforgettable memory, I hope we can come back here again but without cyclone. haha
Our three night stay with Virginia and her parents, Tom and Molly, was a delight. On arrival we were warmly welcomed to their charming Robina home and given a tour of the house.
Facilities were top class, a real home away from home! Our beds were comfortable and facilities were very well appointed. Breakfasts each morning were the perfect start to the day, a self-serve selection of fresh fruit, cereals and toast - all enjoyed on the spacious terrace overlooking the canal.
Every effort was made to ensure our comfort, and information about the area was abundant. Virginia was always on hand to answer our queries and share a laugh, and Tom and Molly delighted us with (website hidden) of their lives. We thank them all for their wonderful hospitality.
Virginia's home is good place that our trip in Australia. The house is very beautiful, Clean.
We get a lot of surprises. we enjoyed the wonderful view there, Boat,Black Swan, good breakfast.
Coles Supermarkets and Woolworths Supermarket is very near.
Thank you Virginia，
We hope to see you again.
Virginia was a nice host, who offered a nice breakfast, nice and clean rooms and even a private bathroom. Her house was beautiful and very special was the sunny veranda where you could eat your breakfast in the morning sun! We had a nice stay and recommend it to other backpackers or tourists:)
It was a pleasure to stay with Virginia, her parents and doggies. We were made to feel so welcome and the use of kayaks was a great surprise. The rooms/bathroom upstairs were private and we even had the downstairs to ourselves the evening we stayed. The location and view of the property is superb. Our only disappointment was we couldn't stay longer.
Virginia is very nice. When we arrived there, a tyre of our car broke. Virginia helped us call somebody to fix it and also the insurance company. She drove us to have lunch while we could not use the car. And we enjoyed the wonderful view there, playing with her lovely dogs. Virginia prepared a great breakfast for us. It's a pity that we stayed only one night.
Thank you Randal for the lovely review. We enjoyed hosting you. Please come back again one day!
Our family of four had a wonderful experience at Virginia's home. As first time visitors to Australia, we truly appreciated all the conversations we had with Virginia and her parents, sharing info about places to see, things to do and their stories of life in Australia. The accommodations were very comfortable for our family. The breakfasts were perfect for getting us started each morning. Virginia's home is nicely located in a quiet neighbourhood with a beautiful River full of birds and other wildlife. The beaches were close by and there were so many options for shopping and dining within a quick drive throughout the beautiful Gold Coast. We definitely recommend staying at Virginia's when visiting The Gold Coast. Thank you Virginia, Roy and Molly for all your hospitality. We hope to see you again someday.
This is one of those reviews with a difference.
Young Virginia is a personal friend of ours who has her own very popular Gold Coast Robina Airbnb host site at 'Gold Coast Waterfront Lifestyle'. In fact her place is so popular that when one of her guests (young Silke from Germany) wanted to stay an extra two nights she found that she was not able to be accommodated.
That was when Virginia suggested to her that she would see if we were free for the nights in question, and after looking up our listing and noticing that we had the nights spare she allowed Silke to view our page on her computer and in her excitement of seeing our availability Silke hit the Instant Book button to secure the nights while they were still available.
The unfortunate result of this action was that the booking then came up under Virginias name and not under Silke's name.
Because of the lateness of the booking, by the time that we had notified Airbnb of the incorrect listing and by the time that Airbnb had investigated our advising the payment process had been processed and it was too late for Airbnb to change the booking details in their system. [This was later confirmed during a personal discussion with Darren Vincent, Market Expert Oceania for Airbnb.]
Having said that, it was a real pleasure for both Vivien and myself to host young Silke and her friend, the young Larissa, who together were seeing some of the sights of Australia while Larissa was on holidays and visiting Silke who had been working in Sydney for the last six months.
The two girls made the most of the great local public transport system to visit a number of the attractions that add to the great flavour that is the Gold Coast, while also taking plenty of time to relax on the beach and also on our balcony in order to soak up the beautiful warm days that also strongly feature as part of the Gold Coast experience.
We also found the two girls to be a bundle of fun, outgoing and ever so easy to relate to. They also took no time at all to quickly made themselves at home and were ever so polite and courteous.
We have no hesitation in recommending both girls as being ideal guests and ones that any Airbnb host should love to have stay with them.
Along with my wife I first met Virginia some three and a half years ago after we moved from Melbourne to experience the great Gold Coast warmth and lifestyle. Virginia is a very active, vibrant and thoroughly engaging young woman who displays a real deal zest for life.
She is a first class people person who loves to see others enjoying a great time. She also loves catching up with friends, both old and new.
Her delightful home backs onto the Robina waterway and sitting out on the enclosed back patio is the ideal location to appreciate the great natural wild life that frequents the area. Her home is shared with her charming parents Roy and Molly, who reside in a separate 'Granny Flat' area of the house.
A number of times I have had the privilege of being a family guest for one of the great meals that Virginia is known for and I certainly envy any Airbnb guest that has the opportunity to partake of such a pleasure.
Virginia also loves her two dogs and they add to the relaxed homely atmosphere of the house by eagerly offer themselves for patting and play.
All I can say is that with Virginia as your Airbnb host you can rest be assured that you are in for a great stay.
