We stayed here for 3 nights with our 3 young kids. It is a beautiful home with a very well maintained pool and hot tub. We met both Betty the housekeeper and Bud the handy man/pool guy. Something broke within minutes of our arrival and Bud arrived the next day to promptly repair it. The setting for the home is very wooded and peaceful. The accommodations were nice and we felt comfortable. The owner Feyi was a bit slow to reply to (website hidden)s and text messages. As a result of that, our arrival time was misunderstood and Betty was sent to the home to wait for us with keys hours before we got there. I was able to resolve it with Betty and she was very kind. She brought some soaps and lotions for us and said she would have had stuff for our kids if she knew children were coming. Again--- better communication between Feyi and Betty would be helpful. Overall, we had a really nice time!
This was the perfect house for our group - 4 adults, 3 teenagers, and a baby. The house was roomy enough for all of us, the pool was fantastic, private yet sunny, clean, and perfect temp. We played scrabble or cards around the dining room table every night. Betty the housekeeper met us on arrival and showed us how everything worked. It was a nice walk/hike to the dunes and beach. We would definitely return next year.
Our family found this to be a great home for our summer get-away. The heated pool (complete with volleyball net) and hot tub are fantastic and the kitchen is well equipped. We walked to the dunes and enjoyed the beach and the lake. Downtown Sawyer, a small quaint village is a short drive from the home and we were able to pick blueberries and explore the Open Farmer's Market. The balance of our time was spent enjoying the serenity and amenities at the property.
Feyi was very helpful and easy to communicate with. When we arrived at the house, Betty, the housekeeper, let us in and had even purchased some fruit and milk for us and our kids. She was really helpful when we had an issue with the shower leaking, and was able to come over and fix it right away. The house itself is very nice, with a beautiful pool and hot tub. It felt very private and tucked away in the woods. The walk to the Warren Dunes beach was easy (except one morning after a hard rain when the path was flooded) and quick. The only issues were that the grill was in bad shape and there were a lot of carpenter ants in the kitchen.
The host was very personable. She was very helpful, but the Airbnb site is not very user friendly.
My sister and cousins rented the home for a girls trip to get out of Chicago; we could not have picked a more perfect home. Feyi was very easy to communicate with and we were greeted and given a tour by the house keeper. The house was lovely, however we were hardly inside as the weather was perfect and we spent nearly all of our time outside by the pool, hot tub and grill. The outdoor speaker system the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this home for relaxing getaway!
We booked this home as a "friend house" for a wedding in Sawyer rather than staying in hotels. We had a wonderful time and our host provided the house with a new Keurig prior to our arrival. Their effort in making us feel welcome didn't go unnoticed. I would love to stay again during a time of year when the pool is open.
This is a very nice property in a great location. We enjoyed it, but not without some bumps along the way. When we arrived, the backyard pool was covered and had rain water on it, so we could not open it or use it the first night. The spa was in need of a cleaning and also could not be used. The owner sent a pool person over and he pumped the water off the pool cover so it could be retracted (took all night) and serviced the jacuzzi and replaced the water in it. It took all of the next day for the jacuzzi to heat up before we could use it... and that was upsetting because the pool and spa were two of the reasons we picked this house over others. Other little annoyances included a full fridge of food, some of it left overs in tupperware. The beds, bathrooms, etc. were al clean and comfortable. The place itself was pretty cool, we liked it. But the experience could have been smoother. One more note, they have Delta Monitor faucets in the tubs. That means to turn the shower on, you have to pull down on the faucet where the water comes out. We had to (website hidden) it to figure it out. There were no instructions in the place.
Great Place. Amazing Pool and location. Loved being able to get out of the city and into nature will all the amenities we are used to. Kind people, clean property and excellent experience.
Very easy to communicate with. She was clean, respectful, and would be welcome back any time.
Feyi was a great guest-- it's always a little nerve-wracking to host people for SXSW since there's such an atmosphere of partying, but I knew I had chosen a good guest when she explained that she was in town because she was representing her health-tech startup, CancerIQ (which sounds VERY cool and innovative). Her flight was delayed, but she arrived in high spirits. She took great care of my place and was super communicative during her stay. She's welcome back anytime!
Feyi is going to do great things. Typical AirBnB guest in San Francisco who is creating the next revolutionary service or product to change the lives of our global communities. Will host again and recommend.
