I'm a very easy-going English guy who is spending some time living in Budapest because (compared to my hometown in the UK) the people here are friendlier, the weather is awesome and the beer is cheaper. I live in an awesome modern 2 bedroom apartment in Budapest city centre, and when friends aren't staying over, I am renting the room out here on airbnb to travellers who don't want the hassle and expense of hotels, and want to be able to cook their own food in a nice clean kitchen (which you can't do in a hostel). Also, hostels are full of bedbugs, noise, and people who don't give a crap about waking you up when you're trying to sleep. Or puking in the shower. None of these things happen at my place!
If you stay at my place you'll get a great experience of Budapest because I've been here since September 2011 and have found loads of "hidden gems" that you probably wouldn't know about if you were staying at a hotel or hostel being fed the same old tourist information as everyone else!
I can party hard as you like, and I welcome guests of all nationalities and gender. If you want to party, let's do it! Of course, you can have as much privacy as you like, to go off exploring on your own. But I'm here if you need a drinking buddy and guide!
6 things I couldn't live with out:
- My laptop (so I can run my business)
- My guitar (creativity & relaxation)
- Red wine
- Alcoholic beverages in general
- The finest of fine food (including kebabs)
- Cheap flights!
