My boyfriend and I stayed for a full week and the unit was perfectly spacious with all the necessary accommodations. Although it's attached to the house, you have your own entry and it feels like a private little cottage. The kitchen has enough utensils and equipment to make full meals if you choose. There is a 60" or so television in the main living room with Xfiniti cable and there is WiFi in the cottage. The area is quaint and quiet and downtown Rockport is adorable. Lina was a perfect hostess; there when you need her but otherwise will leave you to your privacy.
Thank-you for this wonderful review,

We are happy you enjoyed your stay,
Lina met us out in front of her historic rental. We arrived late in the evening and had trouble locating the house numbers on the street. She showed us around the property which was exactly as it looks in the photos. It was clean and in a quiet location. The bed in the large bedroom was very comfy and the rental was spacious. The wifi connection was a little slow. I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Rockport area
Sorry for the microwave problem,it will be address as soon as possible
Thank-you for let us know
Lina was wonderful we were a late Check in she was there ready to show us the house and help us with anything we needed. I am looking at taking my Family there next year when its a little warmer. Great location great town. We loved that the train was so close and convenient.
Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at our place
Love to see you again,
Lina and Woody.
Very Nice stay at Lina's house !
We really loved Rockport.
The house was equipped with all what we needed !
A warm and friendly welcome from Lina set the tone for an excellent stay in this lovely place. We loved the open plan downstairs area, with the (very well equipped) kitchen, dining area, TV and sofa. Being able to get the doors and windows open was great so that we could enjoy the pleasant breeze on warmer days.
The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean with plenty of towels and the overall feel of a cozy home. The walk into Rockport took us just over 30 minutes taking in really nice views of the coastline and changing light across the ocean. There's a bus that stops not far from the house that guests can use to get to Gloucester ($1.25 per person per journey) which is also well worth a visit and saves the bother and cost of parking.
A great house and a great host who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Thanks Lina.
Couldn't have been better. Lina was there to receive us and was friendly and welcoming. The property is fab - very spacious, clean and tidy and a lovely oasis on the edge of town with a huge garden and close to the state park. It was also great to have our own fully equipped kitchen and lounge after staying in hotels for a while.
Lina was there to greet us, even though we arrived very late at night, which we appreciated very much.
Lina's house is lovely, just as advertised. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is roomy with awesome, absorbent towels, kitchen and living room is wide open. The yard is beautiful, with flowers and plants artistically placed. There is even a big tree swing, which I liked as much as my daughter!
We didn't spend any time in the neighborhood, but it was quiet at night and in the morning, and very close to the water.
We loved our stay here. IT was comfortable, great kitchen, living and master bedroom with hardwood floors and lots of windows, picture windows and sliding doors to show off the beautiful surrounding grounds. Our hosts offered fresh vegetables from their garden too! We would definitely return to this excellent home base to your many day trips and local explorations!
Lina gave us a friendly welcome and was helpful but not intrusive. Her apartment was comfortable and nicely furnished in a good location for wandering into Rockport. After New York it was nice to be able to relax somewhere quiet in nice green gardens. Overall we thought it was great value for money.
Lina was gracious and welcoming. We were unsure of our arrival time due to traffic an she was very flexible. The accommodations were private and even better than the online pictures. The first floor is spacious and well-appointed. The two additional floors are charming! Beautiful gardens with a private patio just for guests! This destination is also only minutes to the beach and the train to Boston. We would definitely stay here again.
