I m Rico, live in Berlin and work part-time as a lawyer, and on a Ph.D.
I ve been living in Berlin for more than 10 years now, so I know my way around. I just recently moved from Friedrichshain to Neukölln, and I love it here! It's multi-ethnic, it's vibrant, it's happening.
Apart from that, I love film, travelling and literature. I have a not-so-secret love affair with Italy.
If you come to Berlin for the first time, I can give you lots of advice. Well, the first being is to just slow down. Berlin is not about making money, about frantically ticking off the sights your travel guide presents to you. It's laid back and the thing to do is soak up the atmosphere. Walk around, drink coffee, ake the U-Bahn wherever you like, or go swimming in a near-by lake. It's really about the moment, not about some equivalent to the Eiffel Tower.
That's it :)
