My name is Eibu.
I used to stay in NY for 3months.
I founded company with my friend for making world travel more welthy and valuable!
I love music,playing guitar,eating,cooking,beer,communicating with foreign people!
I made a booking at the 11th hour but Eibu was very prompt with his reply, which helped me alot in the last minute planning. His instructions to get to his apartment also cut down a lot of time for me, trying to navigate through the city.
His place was nice and cosy, not to forget, conveniently located near the train station. Overall, I enjoyed my trip and I look forward to returning to Tokyo!
Cozy place near the Shinagawa station. Eibu went out of his way for us and helped us arrange our visit to sites around the city. In addition, there was a snowstorm in Tokyo a day or two before we arrived. Eibu rented a car and picked us up from the station late in the evening so we wouldn't have to make the short walk in the snow with our luggage.
The room is a cozy bunk bed with lots of natural light. It's conveniently lose to Shinagawa station (c.10min walk) and has a good bathroom. One thing to note, which we didn't realise before we got there, is that you will be sharing the communal areas with members of Eibu's team from his startup travel company. This wasn't really a problem as they are all nice guys, but as a result privacy isn't quite as high as you might expect. All round though, this is a great budget option near central Tokyo with great links to the airport
Perfect location, Shinagawa is a nice place in Tokyo, not as loud and wild as many other places - and it is very easy to reach vom Tokyo Narita Airport.
Eibu is a nice host, helped us out pretty well and provided all services we needed. Highly recommended! =)
The apartment is close to Shinagawa Station, which is great, as it is a major stop on the city circle line. The apartment itself is cozy, taking luggage up the stairs sucks, but can't be helped. Definitely recommend as a good place to stay.
Eibu is a vary kind person. The apartment is comfortable but is a little far from station. Anyway it's a good stay in Tokyo!!
It was so nice to be stayed in Eibu & Kai's house. They are so kind. Also, because I was in the same background with some part (especially, about entrepreneurship) , I had a great chat-times while I was in there, also.
(For traveler who watch this post) This house is not that far from Shinagawa train station, and Shinagawa station is one of the core station while you travel Tokyo. (I think other core stations are Shinbashi, Shinjuku, Shibuya I guess. btw, check about safety and cleanness of there also! )
Location is about 15 minute walk from Shinagawa Station which is kind of far if you have a lot of luggage, however the fact that Shinagawa Station is on a JR line is very good because it helps with travelling to tourist destinations much easier.
We thought we were hiring out the entire apartment for ourselves but it wasn't the case, however Eibu the home owner provided reasonable privacy; didn't matter much as we weren't in Tokyo to lounge in an apartment all the time!
Eibu provided a comfortable environment and kept a well equipped home (toilet paper and hot water wasn't a issue!), he also drove our luggage to the train station which really helped earn him that 5th star! (didn't expect that! I think we were special though :) )
Our family stayed at Eibu's place for 4 nights. Though the place was a little far (about 10 mins walk) from the Shinagawa station but it was quite enjoyable. His location was convenience in terms of food and transportation. There are plenty of stores and restaurants to go to get food. The station is also convenience (the N'EX stops here). The place is pretty clean and roomy. We even ventured up to the roof top of the building - must be nice during the summer. We only saw Eibu once on our last night and he was very friendly.
Tokyo is such a large city it’s hard to know where to stay. But, Eibu’s place is in a great location. It’s very centrally located and a short walk from the train station. Since it’s Japan, and a little tricky to navigate, if you’re looking for the apt and see the Icelandic Embassy, you’re just a few houses away and on the right track. The apt itself? For me, I just want somewhere safe, clean and in a good location and that is what this unit is. We didn’t really hang out here, we just slept and showered. The room itself has bunk beds and is an old school style Japanese room. I’m over 6 ft tall and had to duck every time I entered the bedroom. At first I thought the mattresses were too thin, but I slept just fine. Having fast wifi was a huge plus as well. A little tip, there is a family mart right down the street, it’s 24 hours and it will become your new best friend. Eibu is was fast in replying to messages, which i really appreciated.
My friend, Eibe, is a great guy.
