Hi, my name is Maria. I am a retired teacher who likes travellling and out-door life.
Really nice host, and the room is cleaning and comfortable.
It's near a bus station in 5 min by walking.
Thanks for your kind.
We all felt very welcome at Maria's flat, even when we arrived nearly two hours late! The neighborhood was perfectly placed to explore Stockholm's sights by foot. The flat was small but perfectly formed. The kitchen is very small and so it might not be suitable if you want to do lots of cooking. Thank you Maria.
Maria was very pleasant when we met in person, but unfortunately it wasn't under the best circumstances. We had a long travel day before getting in late, so the next morning we were taking it easy when the doorbell rang. As it wasn't our apartment, and since we hadn't had any communication that Maria was going to swing by, we ignored the bell thinking it wasn't for us. Shortly after, Maria entered using her other key, which was a bit of a surprise to us in our pajamas. While she was very charming and nice, we just wish we would have been warned, as our baggage had exploded and we weren't quite ready yet.
As for the apartment itself, it wasn't quite what we were looking for. It would be great if all you're needing is a place to crash in the summer, but as a home base in the winter it was a bit rustic and out of the way (15+ minute walk plus a metro ride to most locations). The heaters weren't quite enough to combat the cold, and we had to wear our sweaters and wrap in blankets while inside. Additionally, the kitchen is small (microwave + plug-in stovetop with a couple of pans + sink with no oven) so we could really only cook breakfast. Having to go out for every meal quickly added up and effectively doubled the cost of the trip. Also, the WiFi is provided but it is requested that you don't use a lot of data, which is something to note. Finally, the shower doesn't drain properly (more on that later) and is tied in to the toilet drain without a p-trap, so the faint smell of sewage is always present.
In the summer, and perhaps if you're just looking for a place to sleep, I think this would be more than adequate for one or two people (if you like them). It is small but cozy and has enough living space to be comfortable.
Finally, one last thing to note. On the morning that we were getting ready to leave, we both took quick 5-10 minute showers back to back. Since the drain has troubles, this caused the bathroom floor to flood. We were in a big hurry to catch our travel arrangements, but took the time to search high and low in the apartment for some type of squeegee or device to clean up the water, but we couldn't find anything. We didn't want to ruin towels, so we couldn't clean up the water properly. We're really sorry about that, Maria, but we had no way to clean it up.
All in all, bottom line, this is a fine place to crash in the summer but maybe not the best winter apartment for a week.
A beautiful small apartment in a nice area of Stockholm, comfortably furnished and clean. I had a relaxing stay. Thx.
The apartment looked as it did in the pictures and was neat and clean. Situated in a nice area, nearby central station we were able to do all sorts of activities from here. Communication upfront was easy and clear and we would definitely recommend Maria's place.
Good first experience for our first airbnb.
Fantastic location with many restaurants and bars virtually on your doorstep, in a great area of town... and for those wanting to explore Stockholm everything is within walking distance (and an underground station 6 minutes away and a busstop just a minute away.
The place has a dated, but very cosy atmosphere. The kitchen is as described and has all you need for overnight or vacation simple food.
The bed (I only used one of the two) was very comfortable, with lovely real linnen sheets and duvet covers, and real feather duvet. Those that complained previously about the pillows don't have experience of Swedish pillows... these were comfy and way above average!
Some others complained about the bathroom... OK, so it does have a slightly damp smell (poor location), but it was clean and has a super shower. And those types of shower trays rely on gravity of water to drain... so the last cm of water is always slow to drain out... but you can shower as long as you want and it will not overflow!
Only negatives are the Internet and TV. I live in Sweden so could tether my mobile phone without any cost... but those of you travelling from abroad and for whom Internet is important, then this will be an issue. Also, if you want to watch loads of quality TV, be warned, it's only 4:3 size and is the bedroom.
Maria was communicative and very friendly. I had no need to meet her again after my arrival, but I warmly recommend her as a host.
I would definitely stay again
Great Location, very nice warm comfortable place to stay with all you need. We loved this place and would stay here again. Unfortunately we didn't meet Marie, but hope next time
En toppenlägenhet! Inte så stort men med det mesta man kan behöva. Köksdelen är liten men det går ändå utmärkt att laga lättare saker, frukost m.m. Supersköna sängar i sovrumsdelen. Bra badrum med dusch. Mysig vardagsrumsdel.

It was really nice studio flat. It had fully furnished except oven, but I'm sure most of guests do not need to use it at all. It is located near to 7-eleven and Coop which it took about 2-3mins by foot. It takes 10mins to Central station by foot. And a cozy cafe is near to studio so that it's so lovely.
