Está bien ubicado, pero el baño es muy pequeño y hay bastantes problemas con el agua caliente; y el frigorífico no deja de hacer ruido por las noches. Nuestra nota es un 5.
Had a great time staying at Lawrence's apartment. It was clean and neat when we arrived. Lawrence answered the phone every time I called, it was very easy to get into the apartment, which was welcome after our long trip to get to New York. Great location, right near Times Square, we walked most places, so didn't need to use the subway too much. Plenty of space for the 3 of us to stay here. A little bit of noise at night, but nothing too loud. Bath needs a bit of an update as the enamel was coming off and the shower curtain is a bit mouldy. Shower has terrible water pressure, which made it a bit difficult to shower. Other than that great little apartment to stay in, would definitely stay there again.
I stayed at Bravo November 1 - 23rd 2011. We did not meet the host but we met a guy there very friendly. My brother and myself stayed here, the apartment was cosy and spacious we loved the locality of where we were. Couple mins to times sq, very safe to walk around at nite.. I would def recommend this apartment to a couple or 3 people.. Would def stay here again when I come back to NY... We had a lil issue with the smell of gas we thought this was coming from the apartment and the guy come straight away after we rang lawrence, it wasn't coming from the apartment as after we requested for the gas to be turned off on the stove we smelt the gas the following day... Very efficient...
Everything was straight forward. The apartment was just as described; the location convenient and quiet - for Manhattan.
Lawrence was absolutely reliable when we needed him the frist day to explain New York city water pressure on a 4th fl apt. Privacy was respected and had A/C. Only taking a shower needed some patience and the bathroom in all was small. Had some troble with the door knob but other then that it was nice. Getting up the 3 flights of narrow and steep stair would be a problem for anyone out of shape or had bad knees or hips. The rate seemed a fare, overall the place can be totally recommended.
Exactly as described.
We stayed at this apartment during October and there is no denying that the location of this studio is fantastic. It is right between Central Park and Times Square and right near the Subway. As others have said if you are a light sleeper this is not the accommodation for you, it is very loud, however, it is New York so to be expected. The landlord Lawrence is very pleasant and helpful to deal with. We were a family of two adults and two children and we fitted very comfortably. The layout of the apartment is very good. Although the location of this apartment was wonderful we wouldn't stay there again unless some changes were made.
The bath, shower curtain and bath mat were in very poor condition and to tell you the truth I hated the fact that our feet had to make contact with the bath to have a shower. It was clean but in disgusting condition. The bathmat was old and stained and the plastic shower curtain full of soap scum and mould. The basin in the bathroom also blocked up very quickly so we had to let the water go down in "batches". What was also disappointing was the lack of crockery. Although no one expects to go to New York on holiday and cook, I think that many people (like our family) as least want to be able to make a basic breakfast. Although there were plates, glasses and cups there were no bowls other than some disposable ones and I think this lack of attention to detail really let this apartment down. Very strangely there was also no kettle supplied to make a cup of tea or coffee. As someone else stated when you are paying nearly $200 a night there should also be enough toilet paper for the week. We were supplied with 1 1/2 rolls for our family of four as well as an near empty bottle of liquid soap to wash our hands in the bathroom. So during our stay we had to buy more paper bowls to eat breakfast cereal, more toilet paper and handwash.
So all in all although we loved the location and layout of the apartment we would not stay here again.
Overall comment : nice appartement, perfect location, especially for the price. Perfect feet for 2 to 4 people.
In detail :
Pro : location, price, 2 separated rooms, clean, big enough
Cons : shower (too low pressure), entry door issues
Lawrence was comprehensive, helpful and pretty professionnal. However, some lack of interaction were notified (late at the meeting point, not returning some calls...).
Location in Manhattan is fantastic. 100 metres to the subway and a few blocks to either Times square or Central Park.
Room is as pictured but was a bit cramped with 4 adults and luggage.
Lawrence was easy to deal with. He answered all emails promtly and had the appartment open for when we arrived.
2 small negatives. 1. The room was very noisy, but I guess this is expected on Broadway (sirens and crowd noise) and 2. The shower water pressure was quite weak. I had complaints from 3 girls with long hair come shower time.
We would stay here again.
My stay was Fantastic! This apartment is in the perfect location- close to Times Sqaure and within walking distance to some great restaurants, theatres and there is a little grocery store right down the road!
The apartment itself is as it looks in the photos!
Perfect for a couple or in my case just for me...it started to feel like home! The bed was very comfortable. Fourth floor walk up so it was high up!..but it was quieter being away from the street!
There was someone waiting for me to get the keys and no issues with checking in! (Not Lawrence- but still someone helpful)
Lawrence was very helpful and trustworthy through out the entire process- I will most definitly stay here again on my next trip to NY!
Thanks Lawrence! I reccomend this great apartment to any and everyone!
The studio looks exactly like the pictures. Location is very good, nearby subway, places to eat, times square... Communication with the host before we arrived was good but once we got there we couldn't really reach him... Someone let us in and this person couldn't really answer our questions. The day we left we didn't know what we had to do with our baggs so we had te leave them at the studio without knowing if that was ok. The shower didn't always work the way we wanted it to... Sometimes no water at all, sometimes freezing water sometimes waaay too hot. Elevator didn't work sometimes. Overall this is a good place to stay if you don't expect too much.
Midtown Macy's getaway is AMAZING!! It's not the ritziest of buildings, but is super clean, really spacious for Manhattan (especially the bathroom;), simple and modern decor with cutesy accents and an excellent neighborhood.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a real nyc experience.
Also, the renter is the greatest person to work with! Excellent customer service skills and tremendously accommodating.
