Dk is a great host! She was helpful each time I needed. The condo is very clean and new, the place is quiet. I stayed for two month as a visiting student at UT and it was really close from everything I needed: 15mn walk to downtown and 15mn walk to UT. There is also a car park and a bus stop just in the front of the building. I definitely recommend this place to have a nice stay in Austin!
My stay at 1212 Guadalupe was fantastic. Such a great location, close to shops, dining options, live music and the beautiful Capitol grounds, as well as public transport to other parts of the city. There was parking space for the times when I needed to hire a car, and as I was in the U.S. for four months, it was so wonderful to have this cozy little apartment to come home to between (website hidden) met me on arrival and showed me around the space. She responded to queries quickly and was always friendly and available. I would definitely recommend this space for a short or long stay.
Dk was great my flight was crazy but she was not at all annoyed by the changes in time even on a Friday evening arrival she seemed concern with my trip not her inconvenience. The place looked great and anything
You would expect was there. The sheets and towels were superb, it was clean and close to anything Dt. Great parking for yourself convent parking for guests to pick you up or stop by. Also on the bus line. Great
Clean, good locaation to places to eat and not far from downtown. Just a couple of blocks to the capital.
Felt very comfortable with the location and for me it was an easy walk to the entertainment district and museums. Wireless in the apt would be nice to have. Starbucks, however is nearby if you need to check your email.
Nice yet spartan one bedroom (full size bed) apartment a block or so from the capital. No problems getting access to the (website hidden) was impressively quick to respond to emails and text messages. Be sure to drop by Whole Foods in advance if you need to stock the fridge. Easy to walk to a lot but you will appreciate a cab at the end of the night.
This was our first AirBnB experience. Will definitely do it again.
DK was great. We actually had to add an extra day to the trip, and she made sure that wasn't a problem. The apartment was fantastic -- easy to get everywhere downtown, plenty of space, nice building. The only downside to her place -- no WiFi. But we were out and about in Austin anyway, and we didn't come to check our email. So that wasn't much of a problem :-)
My boyfriend and I rented DK's apartment for a long weekend on our first trip to Austin. The apartment was very cute, nicely decorated, well maintained and larger than I (website hidden) was very helpful answering all of my questions and it was nice to have easy parking downtown, a quick walk to shops and restaurants and access to a kitchen. Although we didn't need it, there is an extra futon in the living room and bedding for it in case you have a third person - DK has made wonderful use of the space!
DK was easy to work with. I got this apartment for corp. housing and was told it was a good location and clean.
This place was perfect. It's walking distance to downtown. I even walked back alone late at night and felt perfectly safe.
The condo is so cozy that I actually turned down an invitation to music on my first night there and opted to stay in with a glass of wine and a book.
The only thing missing is wifi (I guess that's the 5th star for me) and TV but I don't really watch TV so I didn't miss (website hidden) was an excellent hostess. I called her from the airport and waited all of 2 minutes outside before she arrived with the key.
This was my first airbnb experience. The trip was both affordable and comfortable and I could not be happier.
