I am a creative, open minded individual with an opinion on just about everything! I love to laugh! I love my family, my friends, my Portland! My favorite travel destination so far is St. Johns.

We really enjoyed our stay at Caroline's. We particularly liked hanging out on the front porch and enjoying tea on the swing!! This house perfectly accommodated 2 couples and a small baby. Caroline was an attentive and available host and everything we needed to know was left conveniently for us in her guest book. We also spent a lovely afternoon in the sunken rose garden just blocks away! This was super. One thing to consider though, if you've never been to Portland this area isn't totally "walkable". You can walk places but it really does take a while. We decided on the first day to rent a car and we were happy we did. It saved us from spending our time "walking to far places" and instead left us to spend more time checking them out. Great overall stay, would recommend.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at Caroline's house. The house was perfect for my husband and myself and our son and his family. The house was very clean and comfortable. It had lots of personal touches to make you feel at home. The grandchildren especially enjoyed the playground equipment in the fenced backyard. There is a great front porch that we actually used while the sun was shining. It was located in a nice neighborhood and was very quiet.
We cooked a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and Caroline had all of the cookware, casseroles, etc. that was needed.
The directions for getting to the house, obtaining the house key and working with a few quirks of an older house were very easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this house and look forward to returning in the future.
Wonderful house with plenty of room to spread out in a nice quiet neighborhood easily accessed from I-5. Everything was shiny-clean and there were notes all over explaining how things worked.
We loved staying at Caroline's house. It was a perfect floor plan for our almost two year old baby. The bed is super comfortable and the swing on the porch was wonderful for evening wine after the kids went to sleep. As with any old house it has it's own quirks but overall it was a great house and Peninsula Park (6 blocks away) was wonderful!
My sister, dog and I came into Portland for a weekend from Seattle and absolutely loved the house. It was comfortable, quaint, quiet, and very easy to find and in a good location to be able to drive to all of the Portland areas we were exploring.
We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at Caroline's beautiful bungalow! Such a cute and comfortable home in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood - even my Westie loved it! We were close to incredible food and coffee shops and a very short car ride and public transportation ride to downtown Portland and convenient freeway access to the Columbia River. Caroline was a wonderful host and we had a wonderful time!! Highly recommended!!

First, we're not sure how a real family could live with such simplicity and grace. Down to the picture perfect tea towel, and the lovely front porch swing, we loved staying in this sweet little bungalow. Close enough for the teenager to walk off catch the train downtown, plus far enough away from the downtown bustle to let us sleep quietly until 10:00 one day without realizing it!
We all agreed, as we locked the door or the last time yesterday, that it was worth staying in the house so that we could let everyone know that we had seen the artwork of a genius little boy hanging in his room before he became famous some day.
We were charmed, and we know you'd be comfortable staying here too. The living room has chairs that are perfect for reading a late night find from Powell's, and the dining room was big enough to have a good Sunday Brunch, and other times was the place to draw and play games.
Lovely little find.
Caroline's house is wonderful: welcoming, comfortable, well-appointed and organized. It's in a lovely neighborhood, a bit off the beaten path, but we still managed to walk to Mississippi Street's hot spots for pints, nibbles, coffees, etc in around 30-45 min. Caroline is very thoughtful, leaving us breakfast necessities and bath goodies for use. We had a very relaxing time chilling on the front porch reading the paper (that arrives to the door daily!) and watching the world go by. Highly recommend this home if you're keen for some privacy and happy to venture a bit to get into the thick of things. Very comfortable, and have taken notes on her style to incorporate into my own home! Very cool little home!
Caroline and her family stayed with us for two nights while visiting in town. They were really friendly from the time we met at the drive way. It was our pleasure to host them. If they come your way don't hesitate to accept their request.
Caroline rented the house for her family and although we didn't meet, they were very respectful of the house. Everything was left clean and well taken care of. They were quiet and courteous and I definitely recommend them as guests.
Caroline, Jason, and Seth were great guests and left the place in perfect condition. We highly recommend them to other hosts and hope they stay with us again!
Caroline and Jason are my owesome neighbors ! They are super sweet and their house is adorable and close to everything. It's in a quiet nice neighborhood of inner east side Portland. Their house is equipped to host small children since they have a cute son as well. I highly recommend their house!
