I have been living in New York for a couple of years and starting to travel more, the reason why i want to share that wonderful place in Nolita . :)

Richard's loft was exactly as pictured. It is HUGE and has everything you would need (coffee maker, electric kettle, iron, hair dryer, empty hangers in the closet, even a washer and dryer!). Ot was also very clean upon arrival. The location is PERFECT for those wishing to stay in the Nolita/LES area, and there are plenty of subway stops nearby. Rich was very warm, and super communicative so check-in and check-out were super smooth. The bed is really comfy. A few things worth knowing before you book so you aren't disappointed: this is NOT a luxury loft building. The ground floor is under construction with tarps and wire fencing, and there are discarded pieces of furniture and huge bags of garbage right out the front door. The loft is 3 flights up (meaning not a high rise), and on a very busy corner (Bowery), so you will hear big delivery trucks barreling down the street during the early morning hours.
Richard was a great host and I would recommend his apartment without hesitation! It is a great place to stay, spacious and very cool. The location is great with so many cafes and bars in the neighbourhood and the subway just around the corner. Richard is a very genuine guy, friendly and helpful. Once we checked it he left us to it, although when the heavy rain caused a few problems he was at the apartment in minutes to help us deal with it. We felt very safe and secure in the apartment. Staying here made our trip very special!
Response from Richard:
thank you ben! come back soon!
*WOW* this is definitely a jaw dropping apartment. It's even bigger than it looks in the photos!
My wife and I stayed here for a work, and we had a fantastic time. There are so many amazing places on your doorstep - definitely the place to go for a brilliant new york experience.
Richard's loft makes AirBnB a better place. This is a great loft for the traveler that appreciates design and values comfort. It's incredible to come back to this haven and relax with plenty of space.
Richard was perfectly (not overly) attentive and helpful throughout the booking, stay, and follow-up process. He's an incredible host with a generous spirit...a gem in the AirBnB community.
We cherished our time out in NYC and loved staying at this loft. There's no way we could have had the same amount of space, amenities, wifi, and attentive host from a hotel as we did during our experience in this lovely loft.
Thank you Richard!
It was fantastic to stay at Rich's place.
...one of those lofts, that you see and think "WOW!!! I could imagine living in general."
We had dinner and drinks with friends and it was the perfect location for that.
Rich is a wonderful host - just ask him whatever you have on mind!
The apartment is very beautiful and provides access to one of the most charming part of Manhattan - truly fantastic!
This place was amazing, we were two in the apartment, and we didn't have any problem. I lived the dream life for 3 days...
Big thanx to Richard.
Richard's place is BEAUTIFUL and SPACIOUS! I want his decorator to work for me! This apartment has so much character. The huge windows let in a lot of sunshine. It has a nice walk-in closet and large shower. It was a pleasure communicating with Richard. He was very accommodating. I really felt at home here, and I can't wait to go back! Thanks, Richard!
The place is large and on the edge of a trendy, fun neighborhood, but also on the edge of a very gritty, dirty, unsafe neighborhood. The entrance to the building was scary, and the entrance on the first floor was the garbage receptacle. The stairway in the fourth-floor walk-up was narrow, steep and gritty. The apartment is much nicer than the entrance, and with the help of the washer/dryer, the moldy-smelling towels and shower curtain could readily be washed. The housekeeper did not leave the house very clean. She may have been taking advantage of the fact that Richard was not in the country. The space, furnishings and decor are very nice. However, the noise level from the traffic is horrific. Never slept an entire night. It is right on the intersection of two busy streets...lots of blaring horns ALL night. Remember, NYC never sleeps. Richard, did try to be as accommodating as he possibly could. Word of advice, if you need more than one set of keys, please let him know in advance.
