I have been living in New York for a couple of years and starting to travel more, the reason why i want to share that wonderful place in Nolita . :)
Richard's loft makes AirBnB a better place. This is a great loft for the traveler that appreciates design and values comfort. It's incredible to come back to this haven and relax with plenty of space.
Richard was perfectly (not overly) attentive and helpful throughout the booking, stay, and follow-up process. He's an incredible host with a generous spirit...a gem in the AirBnB community.
We cherished our time out in NYC and loved staying at this loft. There's no way we could have had the same amount of space, amenities, wifi, and attentive host from a hotel as we did during our experience in this lovely loft.
Thank you Richard!
It was fantastic to stay at Rich's place.
...one of those lofts, that you see and think "WOW!!! I could imagine living in general."
We had dinner and drinks with friends and it was the perfect location for that.
Rich is a wonderful host - just ask him whatever you have on mind!
The apartment is very beautiful and provides access to one of the most charming part of Manhattan - truly fantastic!
This place was amazing, we were two in the apartment, and we didn't have any problem. I lived the dream life for 3 days...
Big thanx to Richard.
Richard's place is BEAUTIFUL and SPACIOUS! I want his decorator to work for me! This apartment has so much character. The huge windows let in a lot of sunshine. It has a nice walk-in closet and large shower. It was a pleasure communicating with Richard. He was very accommodating. I really felt at home here, and I can't wait to go back! Thanks, Richard!
The place is large and on the edge of a trendy, fun neighborhood, but also on the edge of a very gritty, dirty, unsafe neighborhood. The entrance to the building was scary, and the entrance on the first floor was the garbage receptacle. The stairway in the fourth-floor walk-up was narrow, steep and gritty. The apartment is much nicer than the entrance, and with the help of the washer/dryer, the moldy-smelling towels and shower curtain could readily be washed. The housekeeper did not leave the house very clean. She may have been taking advantage of the fact that Richard was not in the country. The space, furnishings and decor are very nice. However, the noise level from the traffic is horrific. Never slept an entire night. It is right on the intersection of two busy streets...lots of blaring horns ALL night. Remember, NYC never sleeps. Richard, did try to be as accommodating as he possibly could. Word of advice, if you need more than one set of keys, please let him know in advance.
Richards apartment is lovely it is exactly like the photos. There is plenty of room to make for a very comfortable stay. It is 3 floors up in a renovated warehouse and is open plan and very tastefully decorated - funky! The kitchen was very well appointed and having a washing machine and dryer in the apartment was great. Richard was a good host although he was away at the time he was always contactable and very helpful and flexible. The area was great lots of good restaurants and bars walking distance from great shops the subway Bleeker St and really easy to find your way around. I would thoroughly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed the apartment is wonderful. Thanks Richard for sharing your home with us.
Rich - is just the perfect host. Even though we did not meet him (he was in Europe when we visited NYC) we think of him as a friend. We communicated a lot before, during and after our 6 days stay. The apt is just great - in more than one way. Spacious, clean, cool and in the heart of soho/nolita with lots of good places for breakfast, lunch and dinner (check out the lasagne at Epistrophy, breakfast or oysters for lunch at Balthazar, or lunch at Freemans) and a perfect location for excursions to all over NY. Rich - your said that your home is our home. Thats exactly how we felt it. We will be back in march or april.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay at Richard's apartment in Nolita from August 13-17. First of all, the location was amazing. Right there in the heart of the Bowery, NoLita, the Bowery and just a stone's throw away from the East Village and the West Village. This was the first time my wife and I had been in NYC together (although we are familiar with NYC) and the location was simply amazing. My wife absolutely loved it. The loft itself was out of a movie. It was very spacious and was a great showcase for Richard's worldly lifestyle. He has a great selection of travel and lifestyle books, very unique decor, a great long dining table covered in tin or zinc. The brick walls of the corner loft gave the place a lot of character. Richard was also very gracious - even though he was traveling while we were there, he was very responsive and also had a local friend Veronica to help us out if we needed anything. For those of you who like a cocktail, Richard kept a well stocked bar and told us to help ourselves. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable and the place was very clean. If you have ever dreamed of SoHo loft living, you cannot beat this. I've lived in lofts before - this is authentic, while enjoying a modern kitchen and bathroom. Thanks Richard!
