Chinese proverb says " nothing is more enjoyable than receiving a guest from far away"

I had a great time at Vicky's place. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and the view from the balcony is amazing. Location, also perfect, just 3 minutes walking from Muni Station. Vicky is super friendly and gave me many useful tips, what makes my trip easier. Definitely a great option in Sanfra.
This was a pleasant, comfortable place to stay. We didn't see much of our hosts. The location's great -- muni is just down the hill, and there's lots of stuff to do within walking distance.
We had a fine time staying with Vicky and her family!
The place looked more lived-in than the photos but it was certainly comfortable and quiet. The toilet was clean and I think they made an effort to let us use it (they have another one downstairs). They also have an amazing patio to soak in the sun!
The location is great with a nearby MUNI station (Castro) and streetcar stop that took us right into downtown. We could also hike to Haight-Ashbury and Golden Gate Park.
There are also many great places to eat nearby too, including Ike's Place, Eiji, and Tartine Bakery.
Both Gene and Vicky were very hospitable, and even invited us for dinner on Christmas! They usually turned in early (around 930pm), probably because of their new-born (Don't worry about late night crying, we did not hear anything!), but it worked for us because we didn't stay out late.
Thank you again for a wonderful week in San Francisco!
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Great location, convenient to take public transportation to everywhere. Amazing view on the deck.
My mom and I loved this room, the apartment, and Vicky (and her family.) We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. The apartment is just a block away from Castro Muni Station and the room (and the rest of the space) is clean, peaceful, large, and extremely comfortable. We spent little time in the room, but Vicky and her husband have filled it with books and had the Wifi password and several maps and guides to San Francisco waiting for us. The bathroom just down the hall was gorgeous and easy to use. Vicky was busy with the quietest baby to ever live, but was really friendly when we caught her. She was very communicative during booking and just as nice in person. I would highly recommend staying here!
Vicky and Gene were amazing hosts. They were very insightful and courteous. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio with amazing views of the city. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone!
Great communication with Vicky all the way via email and text. I at Vicky's only one night to see a friend and a special event in SF. My gosh, this apartment is not only lovely for its size and amenities but the value of its location is the BEST!!! 2 minute walk to the castro station which gets you to downtown and bart with great ease. Plus if you want to go have a drink or bite somewhere in the area its just minutes to walk to. Unfortunately I was not able to take advantage of amenities they had to offer in their home as I only used the apartment to sleep and bathe. My room was very nicely furnished with one window (no view), cumfy bed and clean towel and linens were provided. Bathroom was large and very modern with average water pressure. Vicky and I were constantly missing each other so as she was nice enough to leave me a key to get in, overall a wonderful and quick stay. Only suggestion is to improve a bit more on the cleanliness of the bathroom.
Awesome Location and very nice room! This room is less than 2 blocks from the Castro muni stop. This was a great first AirBNB experience. Vicky was prompt in her replies, accommodated me on a last minute reservation and she and Gene were very personable and easy going. The room was very quiet and comfortable. I appreciated the desk area to charge all my devices, and having a very comfortable large bed with fresh sheets! The bathroom is very nice and the large walk in shower was great. I stayed for one night in the Castro and would definitely stay with Vicky and Gene again.
Vicky and family were incredibly hospitable. While my hours were a bit abnormal due to work and trying to get out and learn about the city they vary graciously invited me into their home and actually requested I participate in a celebration of their new baby - unfortunately I could not due to previous engagements. The house was clean, quite, centrally located with an amazing view of the Castro.
