The Atlantic was the perfect home base for our weekend adventure to Vancouver. We had four of us comfortably accommodated. The location was great, and the house was exactly what we needed. Very comfortable beds, towels, etc. The home is beautifully decorated with lots of art and interesting design features... just as it appears in the pictures. The only slight caveat: the floors, where they weren't covered with comfy rugs, were cold and hard... I would recommend bringing slippers if you plan on hanging out in the house much. Mostly it was perfect! I would definitely like to stay there again.
The Atlantic is perhaps the perfect place to stay in Vancouver. It is a great opportunity to live in one of the nicest neighbourhoods in the city (Strathcona). Next to Chinatown, which is full of great restaurants and cafes, Strathcona is one of the oldest neighbourhoods and is protected from much of the condo expansion that continues to transform the rest of the city.
The house has much to offer. From the view of the park out your window, to the ample space to relax or entertain a dinner party, to the private backyard, perfect for the summer sun. The bedrooms are comfortable, spacious, and quiet. The furnishings complete the space to make you feel like you are enjoying a truly special aesthetic experience.
We live in Vancouver and have stayed at the Atlantic a few times while we’re hosting family. You could say that we use it as our second home. Grace & Clinton are fantastic hosts and their ability to make you feel comfortable is unprecedented.
I can’t recommend enough that you stay at The Atlantic too.
Grace, Amanda and Natalie were a delight to host. On time, cordial and very low impact. I would recommend them to other host's and would welcome them back the next time they visit Roma.
I met Grace's friend Ryan, but again they were the right people for the boat and they treated with great respect
