We had a super good time at Cole's Pond! Winter Vermont Wonderland for a New Year's week... Although we had very cold temperatures at first, the cabin stayed warm with the stove running! Then came the snowfall... The pond was majestic with full moon shinning overhead. We will definitely come back, summer, spring, winter, fall... It will be hard to choose. The Mountain micro-climate, surrounding farms and isolation add to the charm of this unique place... Knowing it is an internet-free zone with no cell phone reception and you will truly relax!
Thank you Ann and Terry for your great hospitality and for sharing your cabin...
Thank you, Noe! So glad you enjoyed it and you are welcome back anytime.
We had such a great stay at Cole's Pond - peaceful and quiet! The cottage has everything you want from a lake camp. Really just right. It is fully modern and equipped while still being classic and casual. They pretty much have it all - kitchen tools, canoes, local hiking guides, board games (we had a few rainy days)... Super and comfortable for our family of three.
Ann and Terry were truly welcoming, accommodating and kind.
Plus, the region is something special. Lots to explore, natural and cultural. We'd love to return someday!
You are welcome anytime, thanks for being such wonderful guests!
We had a lovely, relaxing week at Coles Pond!! Ann was easy to communicate with and there were helpful notes at the cabin about local interests. The cabin was clean and comfortable—our kids (4&7) had a great time playing with the blocks and games that were there. We all enjoyed the kayaks and rowboats and fire pit near the water. Even on cool days when it was too cold for swimming, the kids had fun playing on the dock and in the yard. We saw lots of wildlife—loons, ducks, frogs galore!! The kitchen is well-stocked and we cooked many nice meals. There is a wonderful farm stand "Top of the hill vegetable farm" just up the hill that sold the most delicious fresh eggs and produce. There is no cell service in the cabin, but we absolutely loved having a screen free week! We would love to visit again!!
Ann was a wonderful guest. She is welcome back anytime.
We rented Ann's Coles Pond camp in July and had an incredible time. Ann was very accommodating and communicated all the necessary details. The cabin itself is lovely; comfortable, very tastefully put together, and with the huge windows everywhere to let in the beautiful scenery, we were happy even when it rained. The yard was a great place to hang out with space for recreating, lounging on the dock, and sitting by the fire in the evenings. The lake is amazing for swimming, and the nature reserve on the far end makes for serene paddling and nature watching. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay--we felt very luck to have found Coles Pond Camp, and Ann was an excellent host.
Ann's home on Coles Pond is a delightful space! We spent a relaxed week on this quiet pond swimming, canoeing, cooking, and enjoying the many opportunities nearby for hiking and other outdoor fun. The home is the perfect size, and we loved the sunny, open feeling inside. It was especially nice to have a fully functioning kitchen and clean, spacious bathroom during our time there. Ann was very easy to communicate with and we look forward to our next visit to VT.
