Lance was a great host. Very nice guy, even thought we never interacted much he was very respectful of us and was very nice.
The apartment is as described, very convenient...close to two train stations, close to many restaurants and grocery stores (liquor stores two). It can get hot however and there's a fire station next door, which went into alarm a few times...but i'm heavy sleeper, so it didn't really bother me.
Overall, if you looking for convenience, in NY, this is a great place!!!
I stayed here for a very short amount of time and it was a fantastic place. It was very convenient to a variety of subway lines and Lance was very accessible. Thanks!
I enjoyed my stay in Lance's apartment, it was definitely a good base for exploring Manhattan and Brooklyn. The apartment itself isn't super clean and tidy but it does the job, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen and the bathroom have all the basics you need for a short stay in NYC. It should probably be noted in the apartment description that there's a fire station one building down and the alarm goes off frequently (and loudly) and the fire trucks also make a fair bit of noise, so if you're a light sleeper I suggest getting some ear plugs! Overall though I had a good stay and Lance was a good host, thank you Lance!

I had a great time at Lance's place. He was great to deal with and very easy to get in touch with. His place was clean, the shower was hot and it's in a great neighbourhood. Anyone looking for a home base in Brooklyn will love it.
We had a great time at Lance's place!
On the plus side, the apartment was well-located to the subway, bars, restaurants, Prospect Park. Great water pressure, big windows, comfy bed. It wasn't super clean and felt a bit run-down, but we didn't mind much - we were pretty much only there to sleep and shower. Good value though, overall and generally a great stay.
Lance was super friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout.
Loved staying here! I felt like a real New Yorker. 3 blocks to subway stops, a stroll from Park Slope, Chavela's(!!!!), good neighborhood bars, grocery stores (bob&betty's or organic food land if you want a whole foods in bodega mode). He's got the fire escape, good water pressure, built in stairmaster to the 4th floor, french press and coffee grinder, spherical ice cube tray!, comfy bed, and totally drinkable tap water. Solid wifi, no TV, but who doesn't bring their netflix outfitted laptop with them anyway?
Just a really comfy space, definitely started pretending I really lived there by the end of my 6 day stay.
We really liked the apartment. Is big particularly by NY standards and has good shower and comfy bed! Neighbourhood is great with cafes, restaurants, cool bars, shops, park and museums all within 5mins walk. Would definitely stay again.
Lance was a wonderful host - easy going and very easy to communicate with. The apartment is in a cool location with close transport to pretty much everywhere in NYC. I highly recommend Lance's place!
Lance was great, the apartment was super convenient in a great location. No complaints, would recommend without reservation.
Lance was a great guest. The communication was a breeze and the apartment was flawless afterwards. I can definitely recommend him and he's always welcome back to my place.
Very nice guest, wish we'd had more time :)
