Family of 3.
Our stay at Alison and Dan’s was awesome! Alison was out of town, so Dan did the hosting. Dan was a wonderful host! He was very friendly and helpful. Their home and the neighborhood is beautiful! If you like nature, water, and/or the outdoors, then this is definitely the place to stay! My boyfriend and I kayaked the Indian River in front of their home. We kayaked through the mangroves and under the bridge (A1A) and ended up at the beach, which we practically had to ourselves! We went for a refreshing swim in the ocean. When we got back, Dan was so thoughtful and had a golf cart down by the water for us to use so we wouldn’t have to carry our kayaks across the street. Sitting out by the dock or their front porch in the morning or evening was so peaceful (always seem to be a nice breeze too)! Dan provided us with a good breakfast to get our days started (fruit, coffee, pastry, cereal, and goat milk). I love the animal life at their home too! They have 2 cute dogs, a few goats, chickens, and ducks. We look forward to a return visit, hopefully soon. Thank you Dan!
Although we just stayed one night and Alison wasn't there this time, we strongly recommend this place. Dan was a fantastic host and it was a pleasant stay. The view and the neigborhood are amazing and we felt like a part of the family in this house. Thank you so much for this awesome experience! We definitly would come back!
Alison and Dan are wonderful hosts, we enjoyed our stay very much. They are very open people and we loved just sitting down together and talking. The room and of course the waterfront view is very nice. We had a great time. Thanks a lot

If you want to get a sense of what good ol' America is all about go hang out with Alison and Dan at their one of kind charming place.
We enjoyed our time in the comfy room and loved exploring their big yard.
Yet, the best part was simply meeting our caring hosts who took excellent good care of us even during Tropical Storm Sandy.
Our family of three stayed here in September 2012 and had a wonderful stay. The bed was VERY comfortable and the room well appointed. The bathroom is just a couple steps outside the bedroom door and has another private door from the bathroom to the large wrap around deck.
Your hosts are very down to earth and interesting people. We were pleasantly surprised by the chickens and goats, kept in the back, away from the home. We had fresh hard boiled "blue" eggs from one of the chickens for breakfast as well as fresh fruit, cereal, coffee and tea. There is a narrow road between the house and the dock/water, but we never ventured to the water. We lounged on the HUGE wrap around in the evening, sipping adult beverages, and relaxed on a piece of furniture made for two, which reclined.
On a side note, there was tons to explore near by - we found a beach called Jensen about 20 minutes away and it had a beachfront restaurant and they rented two chairs with nice cushions and an umbrella for $25 for the day. It was a great beach and fun swimming too. We drove a little bit North and found a cool place called Jack Baker's Lobster Shack (Vero Beach) and had an amazing lobster dinner for $15 and a gorgeous waterfront view.
We would definitely stay here again and wished we had just one or two more days to explore the area more.
Absolutely wonderful stay - Alison and Dan made us feel totally relaxed and at home, and we would have loved to stay longer. This was our first airbnb experience and we couldn't have asked for better.
