Tim's cabin was wonderful! Everything about the reservation process and the stay itself was perfect. Tim was available to answer questions and flexible with our schedule for check-in, which was so helpful. The cabin is beautiful as pictured, and it was the perfect place for our extended family getaway. My 4 year old son had a blast with the treehouse, zip line, and swing, my parents' dog ran laps around the pond, and we all enjoyed the property and the lovely, comfortable house. I can't recommend it enough -- my son is already asking when we can go back!
Tim has a wonderful charming house. I traveled to attend a wedding in andes, n.y. this was so convenient. the grounds were beautiful. I would highly recommend this wonderful house to anyone travelling to this area.
We had a great long weekend at the cabin in Andes. It's in a quiet, beautiful location and the house itself is incredibly charming. The furnishings are lovely and the architecture of the place itself feels unique and fun. It was also very dog friendly, which was a great plus for us.
The cabin was just as described, comfortable, cosy and clean. Thanks Tim!
My family and I stayed at Tim's magical place over a perfect fall holiday weekend. The cabin is the sort of place that you can find a quiet corner with that novel you've been intending to read and forget that time is passing. In our case, though, we spent most of our time outside enjoying the incredible beauty surrounding the cabin. The kids loved spotting frogs in the adjacent pond and skipping rocks across the bubbling creek that runs through the property. Nighttime was spent star-gazing and enjoying s'mores made over a campfire. We bumped into Tim briefly and he invited us to pick freely from the many apple trees on the property, which was a kind gesture. In summary, I can't think of a better place to spend a weekend reconnecting with nature (especially at fall!) and escaping the incessant chimes of new text messages. The kids already want to know when we're coming back.
We are regulars at the Catskills, and this time we brought the visiting family with us, we all enjoyed the cabin as it had everything we needed, and a beautiful garden!
Tim's cabin is the perfect airbnb if you're looking to spend a long weekend in the Catskills! Set in beautiful Andes, Tim's gorgeously designed cabin is perfect for a group of 6, with plenty of amenities for eating in and grilling out! We loved exploring the area by day and campfires by night. Would definitely stay here again and again!
I can't think of a better place to escape to in the cold months. Tim's cabin is wonderfully warm, inviting, and cozy, and decorated exactly how I would decorate a cabin if I had one. Lovely rugs, large maps, a loved leather sofa, kilim pillows, a big living room window open to the little pond-- it all feels very warm and comfortable. The two wood burning stoves provide plenty of warmth, and there is more chopped wood available than you could ever use.
The cabin is the perfect place to retire to for a weekend with some friends. We spent our time by the fire, cooked large meals in a well-equipped kitchen, and enjoyed them around the large table. We slept well in cozy beds, and the dogs enjoyed romping around the large backyard. When we found that we had forgotten to pack maple syrup, Margaretville was a quick stop down the road.
On Saturday we decided to journey out for a couple of hours, and were delighted to find that Andes is one of the more charming Catskill towns that we have visited. We picked up many groceries at the indoor greenmarket on Main Street, and visited some very well curated shops and stores.
Finally, Tim was exceedingly generous, quick, and kind in all of our pre-visit coordination. He provided a house manual that answered all of our questions. And arrival and check out was easy. We cant wait to come back in the winter.
We had a lovely time at Tim's home. The cabin is rustic and very inviting. All of the rooms are charming and very cozy. This is a great place to fully relax. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, and everything you need to cook for friends and loved ones. Also, the surrounding areas are just beautiful, it is Fall now and the trees are just unbelievable. Tim even has apple trees on the property which he allowed us to pick from. A great trip, fantastic hosts.
