I'm in business development for a small but growing natural food company ((website hidden)), and I do everything from creating new product concepts to sales.
Ironically, I don't think of myself as a foodie, but particularly enjoy various Asian cuisines: Indian, Vietnamese, Korean, and Szechuan food. Generally, the spicier / greater flavor variety, the better.
I love getting to know a place's history, and hanging w/ locals. I travel fair amount for work, mostly domestically (mostly SF / Chicago / Seattle / New York, DC), but I get to be in Asia and Europe both at least once a year as well.
Things I love: a nicely hopped IPA / NPR / a cold breeze or wind / exploring local small businesses.
