Santa Barbara CA, (there now), Ranching, and i am a contractor, so producing nice spaces that people enjoy living in, gives me a tremendous sense of accomplishment.

Robert's house on Twin Peaks is everything the photos indicate. The views are amazing and it was nice to watch the sunrise out the bedrooms window in the mornings. All three bedrooms have the same view over the valley, but the Master, one floor above the others, takes the cake.
The only worry, as another guest noted (although this review was left after I booked my stay), the "WiFi" is actually a portable MiFi device. This was indicated in the house instructions that I received only a couple of days before arriving. Probably not a deal breaker, but it would have been better to disclose this up front.
Otherwise the house was nice, the bed was comfy (I only slept in the Master bed) and the location is great!
The photos of the house are accurate. High ceilings, nice bathrooms (although no hand soap in 2 of the 3), and a wonderful view.
HOWEVER, the host is not transparent about additional costs. He charges $30 for every two gigabytes of internet data you use, and in his "welcome packet" states that internet should only be used for e-mail, and cannot be used for streaming videos or music.
So if you enjoy spending your evenings kicking back to pandora or netflix, choose a different place. But if you want a lot of space and a place out of the hustle and bustle of downtown SF this place may be right for you.
One of the beat properties in SF! View, privacy, decor, price. Love this spot
Home was beautiful, and the view of San Francisco was absolutely breathtaking!
Bob was an excellent host and the property was wonderful. Traveled to SF on business and although I did not spend much time in the house, the views from the living room and all bedrooms are breathtaking!! Overall, I look forward to staying at Bobs house again.
We could not have asked for a better stay while in San Fran for the 3 days we spent in Bob's place. The instructions sent prior were easy to follow, the space was very spacious and clean as well as in a great part of the city. The views in the morning and night from the balconies were amazing. I already have emailed this listing to friends and family telling them if they are looking to come to San Fran to check out this house. Thanks Bob :)
Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with wonderful views. It is about 20 minute drive to downtown [union square], because of that I would probably at a place much closer to downtown.
Property exactly as described. Robert was very professional with instructions and details about the house. Will be back if I'm in town.
My stay at Robert's Twin Peaks place was fabulous. The place is great. The pictures and description were spot on. Because the place is built on a hill, you enter on the 3rd floor, which is where the master bedroom is. The private deck off of the master has a spectacular view (as do all of the balconies) of the east side of SF toward Oakland (can see the bay bridge in the distance). Go downstairs one level and there is a tv sitting area and two more bedrooms. Go down another level and there is the kitchen, a family room, dining room, etc. This place has all you need (all appliances, etc.) and is clean. The place has granite tops, all of the dishes needed and is well decorated.
It is walkable to The Haight, but it is hilly. Probably better to wear tennies rather than flip-flops like I did. The place is at the end of Deming and it was a little hard to find if you do not know the area as it is tucked into the corner to the left as you are facing the dead-end.
I did not meet Robert, but he gave me all of the information I needed and was very responsive.
