Stayed here for 4 nights end of January 2015. Laura and her husband were friendly and helpful. The direction she gave to the apartment was spot-on and we found the apartment very easily, just a short 10-min walk from the SM Novella train station.
The bathroom was very clean and very large for European standard! But the bedroom was a little small - we had two big luggage and two hand-carry bags which we had to use some of the kitchen space and the entrance hallway to put our luggage.
We had some issues with the window in the bedroom which couldn't shut properly and we could feel cold wind blowing in. No fault of the host as we understand it's an old building. Laura's husband was very handy in taping up gaps in the window frame which really helped block the cold winter wind out! Laura was also very accommodating in leaving the central heating on all night, which made the whole apartment including the bathroom warm and nice. Really appreciate that.
There's also a fully-equipped kitchen, including basic ingredients for cooking a simple meal, but as we were there for a short stay, we didn't get to use the kitchen other than to boil some water.
Laura also helped me research for some tours when I was out busy exploring the town. Very kind of her!
Thanks for your warm hospitality and for providing a good place for our stay in Firenze!

room is very small but comportable !
When I landed in Florence I called Laura to let her know we were on our way. When we arrived about 20 minutes later she was waiting for us and showed us her place. The room was and pictured and Laura did a great job familiarizing us with the apartment and also the local area and tours. My daughter and I were staying for more than a week so Laura arranged to clean the apartment mid-stay. When it was time to live I had difficulty arranging a taxi early in the morning so I asked Laura to help and she arranged. I would recommend her apartment. Also enjoyed the local cafe.
Perfect apartment! Really close to all museums and monuments in the historical center of Florence. Kind of quiet in the night, we slept without noise from the street. If u want one day to visit Florence choose Laura's apartment. She is a nice person, who is giving to u all details about ur staying.
Laura was polite and flexible with check in time. Room is small, clean and just right for visiting Florence for a few days. Location is ideal.
We were welcomed.
Laura was there to welcome us and available any time I needed her to ask questions or get help with problems in town. A very lovely hostess! The apartment was wonderful for its fantastic location and has a very nice kitchen and bathroom with toiletries and basic kitchen items provided. We were very happy there!
Laura was a wonderful host and a life saver when I left my computer bag on the bus that brought us from Bologna to Florence because of bad weather at the airport. She called the bus company twice to make sure they found it and I was able to retrieve it. The apartment is small but well-located, in a neighborhood that is both convenient and seems to be mostly locals rather than tourists. There's good storage for your stuff, in both the bathroom and the bedroom. (We put our suitcases on top of the wardrobe.) The wi-fi is a little unreliable, but I've had that problem in every apartment I've ever rented in Florence, so I suspect it's the ISP.
This AirBnB was great. It was simple, having just a bed, a bathroom, and a small kitchenette. It was quiet and warm, which was great as it was constantly cold outside.
The only downsides was that there was neither an oven nor a microwave, which severely limited the amount of food able to be cooked at the apartment, as well as the apartment feeling cramped, but that comes from someone used to much more space, but the most important was that the WiFi only seemed to work if I was within a couple of meters of the door to the apartment. Aside from the WiFi the downsides were not a big deal as the apartment was located in a good area with a variety of different cuisines around, including Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Italian, and possibly more I didn't see, and I did not have a need for more space aside from wanting to unpack my bags more.
Laura was nice as she tried to arrive as early as she could to let me in to the apartment after I messed up my timetable and arrived 2 hours earlier than expected. Other than this I had no other contact with Laura, but it was obvious that she was a nice person and probably would have been happy to chat had I not been so tired.
