I'm a friendly, well-travelled, mid-thirties culture-mad person. I did both my undergrad and postgrad in Manchester but lived (US/Australia) and travelled (Africa/ SE Asia/EU) around the world and in London in between so relatively new to Manchester. I love running and cycling though am recovering from injury which means I've also become a bit of a yoga bunny in the past year.
I live and work (in corporate ethics) in the city centre and whilst I take my job seriously, I love the cafes and galleries of Manchester and in particular the Northern Quarter, where I live.
I love cooking and talking about food and sharing experiences (food or otherwise) and can happily discuss the Manchester music scene or its industrial past.
I'm an easy-going host.. Make yourself at home - especially in my kitchen. I have terrible taste in movies (think musicals and Poirot) but you're welcome to help yourself... and a decent book collection.
I'm also still quite involved with the university and like a bit of a chat. Also happy for you to just grab my spare key and explore the city / get to (website hidden) - my profile photo is by the door of Barclays Bank's CE Bob Diamond's ex-London pad - not mine!
