The Condo was beautifully set in the mountains and very well appointed! I stayed with 3 other athletes competing in Ironman Canada. There was plenty of room for the four of us, and would have held 10 total guests.
Overall a very pleasant stay, but I had 3 reasons for not rating it at 5 Stars.
1. The owner advertised WiFi service, but the internet service was cancelled for the summer months; therefore, we had no internet. I called Caroline, and she seemed surprised about not having internet and suggested we go to the village and check there. I was hoping that she could fix the problem. Fortunately, the next door neighbor was president of the HOA and for $40 usd offered to turn on the internet. Of course we paid it and it worked fine.
2. The advertised drive to town was 20 minutes. I can't imagine getting there in less than 40 minutes. It is a winding mountain road and is frequented by slow logging trucks hauling there loads. Even without traffic, the drive is really 40 minutes.
3. The condo had two master suites, but only two total bathrooms. Fortunately, we had only four guests and split up into 2 per bathroom. If we had had 10 guests as planned, the bathroom situation would have been a real problem. Especially since the upstairs bathroom would have been conveniently located for 6 guests.
Overall, a wonderful place and I would recommend it for skiing on the mountain or any vacation that did not require a daily drive into Penticton.
Paul and Caroline are wonderful and have a wonderful guest house to stay in. It is very cozy, full of bright light and you are free to wander around the property. Everything about this stay was very refreshing. The breakfast was delicious and all the home baked goodies were delightful. There was always milk in the fridge and I didn't want to get out of bed because it was so very comfortable. I definitely plan on staying again the next time I come out to Abbotsford. Staying in the Farm Area is truly a refreshing getaway. Just make sure you have a car so you can drive around to the other farms and pick up fresh produce at the farmer markets.
Paul and Caroline make a great breakfast. They are sweet and can answer any question you may have about the city. The apartment was clean and cozy.
