If you rent from Alik, caveat emptor.
The listing said it accommodates 5 people - When you list it that the palce can accommodate 5 people, and then do revisionist representations of the place when someone complains, yeah, that's a problem.
And if you cannot even replace a toilet paper holder, what other attention to details might be in store for the "guests"? When you fail to list the other issues we had with the place, that is called omission of facts.
As former AirBnb hosts, we didn't misrepresent our place or have 5 pages of instructions. We actually greeted our guests, had fruit and snacks for them when they arrived (per AirBnb suggestions), and provided breakfast. (Not that we would have had any of the two buck chuck swill you said might be available.
The second "B" in BnB stands for breakfast....but as I've noted, as our last two off three AirBNb experiences have been bad, and our we were cautious about having good expectations about the plac.
You confirmed that the original Airbnb concept of having a personal experience with your host is gone.
