I'm a very easygoing person.
I like cooking and travelling and I like to share experiences with people from all over the world.
I love Rome and I will do my best to make unforgettable the stay in the eternal city.
Emanuels appartement was a poor place to stay. The explanations on Airbnb failed to tell the truth about this place. We stayed there for one week, on the second day the heating broke down and we had to use aircondition for an average twenty degrees in the appartement. the bathroom was disgusting because it looked like if it hadn`t been cleaned up for weeks. The next problem with the bathroom was the shower: it had no pressure and there was no way to use the warm water in a steady way and there wasn`t enough warm water for two people.
druing the week we wanted to cook dinner, what ended in a breakdown of the electricity. the good thing was, that emanuele responded very quickly every time we had a problem but didnt come to fix them.
we want to thank emanuele for letting us stay in his appartement but in the future we recommend to lower the price of it.

Emanuele was great - he works out of town and is available via phone/email and was quick to respond to any of our questions. His mother, who lives in the same apartment building was our main host and checked us in and out. We also enjoyed a few visits with her over coffee in her beautiful terrace garden. She is lovely but hardly speaks english (she is fluent in italian and french).
The apartment was clean, cozy, and had great wi-fi. well equipped kitchen, and lovely rooftop terrace! Only minor issue was a lack of hot water some mornings for both of us to enjoy a shower. Location is out of the city centre in a local area, but a two minute walk to the tram line that takes you right into the heart of Rome in 20 mins.
Very nice little flat with a great balcony. Perfectly located.
This is a great little apartment in a pleasant residential neighborhood, close to some lovely parks. We stayed for a month while studying nearby, and it was ideal for us.
We stayed in Emanuele's studio for about a month and had a wonderful experience. To start with: E. is a wonderful host. When we arrived he met us at the door and gave us all the information we need to get around the city and even offered us a bottle of champagne! Then when there were any problems with the internet he fixed it immediately. Also his English is perfect which makes communication so much easier. In case of emergencies his mom (the most cheerful and kind person) lives right downstairs to take care of you. Well you need to have a basic knowledge of French to communicate with his mom but sign language works too:) She made sure that our apt got cleaned every week. The studio and the terrace is absolutely amazing, better than what they look in the pics. We didn't even want to go downtown, you can just get a pizza from the wonderful restaurant downstairs and eat it with a bottle of beer (which was E.'s mom's idea and it was amazing). You can take the tram to get to the city from right across the street (takes about 30 minutes) so it's very accessible and also a bit away from the tourist crowds so it was a perfect location for us. If you're into jogging or walking there's a huuuuge park in 5 minutes distance so you can enjoy being in nature. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, I would totally go there again!
I would have left a review with no stars if I had been allowed to. I'm unsure how this residence hasn't had any past negative feedback considering there was mold and mildew in every corner of the apartment. The apartment was nice, the terrace was nice but it was FILTHY. I went to take a shower and there was literally over 100 ants on the floor of the shower. The mold infestation was disgusting you could smell the mildew in the air. To make things worse, the host, who had been responding to every email/text within 10 minutes for the week prior to our arrival suddenly disappeared when I had an issue and didn't acknowledge anything that I had said to him except when I said I was leaving. I'd highly suggest getting a better value for your dollar. Unless, of course, showering with bugs in a moldy stall is your idea of fun.
very nice apartment, close to the very good tram 8.
The terrace is the best thing, unfortunately was always raining while we were there.
The apartment is very nice and it's really easy to go to the center with the tramway. It's exactly like the pictures.
The weather was not really good, so we didn't really benefited of the terrace. It's a pity because this one is very nice.
The restaurant just next to the residence is very good.
We had a nice stay at Emanuele's apartment for 12 days in December including Christmas and the New Year. The place is wonderful lit by sun during the day and I can imagine that on warmers days is a bless to have that terrace. I cooked there almost every evening, but keep in mind that there is no oven so all you can do is boil or fry things.
We got to meet Emanuele in the third day of our stay which was a little unusual, but the family that lives right under the flat was of great help, especially the Romanian lady that takes care of the grandmother. She helped us with the power problem which had to be turn on from basement every time when the power went of because the heater and the stove shouldn't be used at the same time. And also she borrowed us a vacuum cleaner, which was much needed as you can imagine after a week of living in two in a small flat.
The internet was working fine for us, but only after we had to ask the host to see to it, as it was no internet connection on our arriving day.
The place is nice and and we found the price good for that long stay.
Emanuele is a very good friend of mine: he's responsible, super-organized and really easy going.
I'm sure he will make your staying in Roma a great experience.
On top of that, I know the flat he's renting and I can confirm it's a superb choice for an holiday in Roma: well connected with the city center via public transportation, nicely decorated, fully equipped and, above all, it has an astonishing terrace you will hardly find somewhere else.
What more can I say… just book with him and enjoy your holiday!
