From the moment we arrived Anni made us feel very welcome. Our room was beautiful- we actually stayed in the The Charles Fournier Room which we would HIGHLY recommend. The view of the lake and surroundings is not to be missed. One of the best sunrises ever! For breakfast, John made us a delicious meal with many local ingredients! The quality of craftsmanship on the recent renovations in the house is amazing- it really allows some of the original details to shine through! Walking around the property was so relaxing. So many paths to follow, and sights and sounds to drink in. Just what we needed to relax on our wine weekend. We would most definitely stay again next time we are in the area, and highly recommend this hidden gem!
Anni and John have a little slice of heaven! My husband and I spent 4 nights here for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. Our room was quite and cozy, with a big comfortable bed and lots of blankets for the chilly October nights. The grounds are amazing and so much fun to wander around in the morning with a cup of coffee. Spend the day touring some great wineries and breweries close by, then run down to Hammondsport for dinner. At night open a bottle of your favorite wine and relax while soaking in the view of Keuka Lake. Anni and John will make sure your stay is perfect!
From the huge comfortable bed to the homemade muffins, everything was great. Anni was up and ready for us (and personable!) at 6am - which was a big help as we were in town for the marathon and had to be out early. The view was awesome (get up early for the sunrise). Highly recommend Anni & John to anyone in town for Wineglass - 10 minute drive to Bath for the bus.
Anni was sweet and an incredible hostess. I was running the Wineglass Marathon and had to wake up early, and she woke up even earlier to prepare a carb-loaded breakfast and coffee for me the morning of the race. And the B&B is so quiet and tranquil--we slept so well! Thank you, Anni and John. Much appreciated.
Very relaxing stay with Anni and John at the Red Tail Overlook. Quiet countryside location, about a 10 minute drive to the cute little town of Hammondsport and several great wineries. Enjoyed Anni’s restaurant suggestions and breakfast was delicious as well.
Fantastic Place! Very relaxing, both inside and out. Cant say enough and Anni and John's hospitality. They were very helpful and gracious. Would love to stay longer next time!
We had a lovely stay here. Anni and John are incredibly welcoming and have a fun lighthearted air about them. Their property is gorgeous with seemingly endless gardens, two picturesque red barns and a beautiful view of the Kueka Lake. They have a couple very friendly cats, Grace Kelly in particular, who if you take the time to give a little attention to will be your new best friends by the time you leave. The bedroom and bathroom were both very clean and the breakfast each morning was delicious, especially the fresh baked bread. We highly recommend the Red Tail Overlook!
The farm house as well as the 30 acres of property were even better than advertised. My girlfriend and I escaped for a weekend getaway of hiking, winery tours & good cuisine in the finger lakes. We found it all with Anni & John's recommendations. They knew the area very well & were more than happy to offer advice and good conversation when the opportunity arose.
The expansive & private rear yard with relaxing furniture, scenic views and firepit was the perfect place for an engagement proposal as well. Top notch, would return again.
Anni and John and the almighty Orca Bear gave us the warmest welcome of a weekend getaway imaginable. The sunrise over the lake streaming through our bedroom windows was absolutely breathtaking. We loved our sumptuous bed and bedding so much that we went home and bought similar items. John offers rich and colorful stories while (website hidden) over preparing a gourmet breakfast spread. Anni is deep and heartfelt and attentive to every tiny detail of hosting, making this gorgeous Finger Lakes farmhouse a 5 star experience. Thanks for everything!! --Karen & Steve
We had a wonderful stay at Red Tail Ridge with our hosts Anni and John. They were warm and friendly and welcomed us into their home and lives. We stayed on a very nice day, so much of our time was spent outside wandering the fields and gardens. We enjoyed their pets, Orca and the cats and they too made the cozy farmhouse feel like home. We wrapped up our visit with a long chat over a wonderful breakfast. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it for a nice relaxing getaway.
