The apartment was as described. The garden is perfect for children and the overview is fantastic.
We had a great stay in Bellano. The weather was perfect (October).
Thanks for the very warm welcome.
Very friendly welcome from all the family. A lovely apartment with fantastic views and very tranquil. We would love to stay again.

I apologize for the inconvenience, I had a problem with the boiler pressure is now resolved .
The view lives up to it's reputation!
What could be better than looking down at Lake Como while cooking your food? :)
Milly was very nice, she waited up for us well past midnight on our arrival.
There is plenty of room and everything is very cozy.
Two balconies to enjoy that fantastic view from!
Bellano is a beautiful and quiet little town that is located perfectly to explore the surrounding area from.
We really felt like coming home every evening!
Milly was a fantastic host. She doesn't speak any English and we don't speak Italian but it was never an issue. Great views from the patio and Bellano isn't filled with tourists, which was great. Thank you Milly for making our stay very memorable. We definitely recommend this and will be back!
Milly gave us a lovely welcome and her son Beppe showed us everything we needed in the apartment (it has everything you could possibly need here!) Most amazing view of the lake with incredible views as the sun sets on the other side of the lake. Beautiful town, very quiet and not touristy at all. The apartment was very spacious and has two wonderful balconies. Very much enjoyed staying here, and highly recommend!!
Milly made us feel very welcome and after explaining what we needed to know, she left us in peace. The apartment is exactly how it's described, the views are amazing and we were lucky to experience a beautiful sunset, lots of clouds, thunder and lightening, lots of rain and to finish of snow on the peaks, 4 seasons in 3 days
Amazing view, very nice apartment/house, nicely furnished with high quality.
The guest was very nice and welcoming and not at all intruding.
Home with Amazing View is very accurate. Just about every window and door looked out to Lake Como and the mountains. The home is immaculate and spacious. The Kitchen is fully equipped with plenty for a large family or group. The patio doors open up to a lovely patio at the living room level and a balcony at the bedroom level. The master bed was comfortable. Everything worked great, except the internet only worked in the living room at the couches. Other than that, everything was perfect. We were warmly welcomed at the train station by Beppe – thank you Beppe! He also showed us the local grocery store and the path that connects from the home to town Depending on your ability, the pathway takes about 12-20 minutes down or back up. Warning – pay attention when you go down. There is one place that the steps drop down to a wider path. Right after that there is a red paved parking lot on the left and the cemetery on the right (going down). Stop turn around and look at where you came out. You may see an arrow pointing toward the main path. Make note of that spot because that is where you need to get off the main path and onto the path that takes you directly back up to the house. I caution you about this because the first night we did not realize that we had come on a different path coming down, and when we came back up we missed the turn. It was dark and rainy and by the time we realized we were lost it was too dangerous to go down the wet stone path. Thankfully we found our way through google maps, but it took us 2-1/2 hours of walking late at night in the rain. (not fun – but an adventure to remember!) Bellano is a quaint town that we really enjoyed because it wasn’t real touristy. We noticed that more when we ventured on the ferry to a few other towns. We really liked the quiet simple life around Bellano. Besides the regular grocery store, look through the narrow walkways of town to find the butcher, the fruit & vege merchant, the pastry shop and others. Shop there and enjoy the experience of shopping like the town people do. I also want to say thank you so much to Mille and Beppe for leaving a little pasta and sauce for us. By the time we arrived, we had not eaten and were very hungry. That gave us the sustenance to take the trek to town. This place is perfect if you are looking for a place to relax and get away from the crowds. But be prepared to walk long distances up/down a very steep hill unless you have your own transportation. Do not rely on the bus service – especially in the off season. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place and would stay there again in a...
This is where you want to stay! We arrived to a fantastic sunset (similar to what Milly has posted on this website) and sat on the balcony eating grapes provided by Milly from her own grapevine! As many have mentioned, Milly is a wonderful hostess, the view is unbeatable and the apartment is cozy and lovely. We hated leaving!
The big kitchen has every convenience and the apartment was spotless and sparkling clean! I so appreciated that. Internet worked great. We enjoyed meeting some of Milly´s family and seeing and hearing the grandchildren. Oh, there are two adorable kittens who showed up to greet us each day!
We walked up and down the cute cobblestone pathway to town every day (no car). It is quite a hike and not possible with suitcases (we only had small backpacks). But the home and view make up for any inconvenience this may cause. The path starts behind the church, past the cemetery and on UP! There are two larger grocery stores in town along with numerous other smaller, quaint shops.
We also hiked the sentiero del viandante (about 1.5 hr at a fairly brisk pace), then took the ferry to Bellagio from Varenna. What a fun day! The train from Varenna takes you back to Bellano.
Heaps of thanks to Milly for a great stay!
