I operate a business in the healthcare industry and have traveled frequently over the past four years to conferences and customers. Healthcare is not a business centered in one specific city, but really all over the country and world. I seemed to always have someone staying on my couch. When AirBnB was started, I was an early adopter and loved hosting travelers. Now when I travel for work or pleasure, I always check to see if an AirBnB listing is available - because I really enjoy seeing a city through the lens of someone's home, rather than a hotel room. Feels more natural that way.
I like to feel alive. I try to surround myself with people who are willing to live. I enjoy dinner parties, good conversation, and life experiences. I like being around people who ask good questions, are observant, and aren't afraid to participate. I travel because I grow (and because work lets me travel). I learn socially and like experiential journalism. I pick up hitchhikers. I think people are innocent until proven guilty. "
