I loved my time in Boulder, and Alexia was an extremely kind and thoughtful host. The guest cabin was as described – basic but perfect for me and within easy reach of central Boulder and the mountains. Thank you!
Alexia was such a pleasant and gracious host. Her suggestions and amenities were spot on, and it was a pleasure chatting with her about the area. The cabin is perfect for a quiet stay in the mountains - I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and simple getaway.
I had an absolutely lovely time at Alexia's! It is a wonderful retreat and I hope to come back very soon.
My stay at Alexia's cottage was superb. The cottage was beautiful, very comfortable and well heated, which was great on some of the colder nights. Alexia was so sweet, leaving delicious, fresh baked muffins for us each morning, which we ate in a little seating area just outside the cottage with a stunning view of the mountains. It was magical and added so much to our trip. Alexia was also a fascinating person to talk to and learn about. Even before we arrived, she emailed me her personal recommendations for the best places to visit and eat downtown. I've always had great experiences with airbnb, and this was one of the very memorable ones.
This is a very good place to stay in Boulder. Alexia is a nice person. I warmly recommend this cottage !
Alexia was very welcoming and gave great tips for awesome hikes in the area. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There's no shower, but the community center with a pool, gym, and locker room was a close drive. Alexia gave a gift certificate to use the facility (it's $7 a day). Great place and close to all the action on pearl street.
Alexia Parks was most welcoming and very knowledgeable of Boulder. The cottage was comfortable and offered us some privacy a room in a house could not have provided. Although we did not have a proper shower (noted in the description), showering outside in the open was fun and just what I was looking for. The downtown area is a good walk from the cottage (20+ minutes), so you should have transportation or be willing to enjoy a beautiful walk. The cottage also offers a spectacular view of the flatirons and nearby wildlife. And if you're looking to hike, Alexia's cottage is very close to some great trailheads! I would highly recommend this experience.
Alexia is an erudite and interesting host. Her small cabin above house main house was ideal for my girlfriend and myself. Quiet, clean and delightful! Much thanks to Alexia for the coffee and muffins every morning and the hints on what's happening in Boulder!
Alexia was very available, very attentive, and made sure we were comfortable in her cabin. We were somewhat demanding, and she proved to be very flexible! The cabin is rustic, very private and quiet, a short walk up from the main house. We didn't get to try the shower because it got so cold the two days we were there, but though a solar camping shower was a great idea for warmer days! After all, this is Boulder (Eco, sustainable-friendly). Chautauqua park is NEXT DOOR! Ideal location for hikers. We stayed here right before moving to Boulder, and are hoping to keep in touch with Alexia!
Great place. Rustic appeal. Scenery to die for. Feel like your camping but with modern conveniences and a close walk to town.
Alexia and Dr, Joel were the sweetest most considerate people ever! They both even took time out of their busy schedules to meet with me and give me advise about my mother's health. On top of it all, they were very clean! Hope to see you guys again soon.
