I'm an artist/creative/designer who creates from home and my boyfriend is a chef and a student again. We have both traveled the world in our younger days. Lately, we've been exploring the east coast of the United States. We both lived in Portland, Maine (where we met 4 years ago and have been together ever since) for around 10 years and before that we both lived in Los Angeles (although we didn't know each other yet.) I am originally from Chicago and have strong ties to the MidWest.
We are new to Airbnb, but, we've spent a year living in a large house in Philadelphia that has been the home of people coming through for a couple months at a time. Everyone enjoys our animals and we've enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. We understand common courtesy when you share a space with other people. We pick up after ourselves and understand quiet hours when others are sleeping...
Rick is the talkative one, he can excitedly talk about so many things. I'm more on the quiet side. We are both pretty straight up, sincere people. Humble, compassionate and considerate in our thoughts. Rick is really enjoying being back in school, taking online classes in history, philosophy and in the fall - photography, sociology and a creative writing class. We have decided that Philadelphia isn't for us and we have decided to head west for new adventures and where rents aren't "ridiculous".
(taken from suggested things to write about) My life motto is from the TV show, The Riches. "Life is a river kid. You gotta go where it takes you."
