We spent 2 weeks without problems in this nice but noisy appartment, very well located to visit the different parts of Mexico city.
Maris has been very helpfull.
Maris was a super responsive host, answering the phone each time I called with a question. There was a problem with the building key in the middle of our stay, and she took care of the problem directly.
After exploring the city for a few days I highly recommend the apartment on the criteria of location. We used the Metro every day and it took us only five minutes to walk to the station.
The apartment was clean, accurate to the photos, and had a sweet little kitchen, well equipped for basic cooking. Maris provided drinking water.
The 2nd bed is only a couch, which my daughter slept on with the provided sheets and blankets.
Our incoming flight was cancelled so we didn't arrive until the next day, but Maris made arrangements for us to get the keys. It was surprisingly quiet in the apartment and I really liked all of the plants she has. She had fruit for us which was very appreciated, and there are windows in three directions so depending on the time of day something could be opened to let in light and air.
One word of caution if you stay here - watch your head on the shelf above the couch!
Maris è una persona molto estroversa ci ha accolti con della frutta
fresca per compensare il nostro lungo viaggio.
La casa è bella e accogliente, la cucina ben attrezzata.
C'è molta biancheria a disposizione.
First of all, Maris is a great host. Friendly, helpful and gracious.
The place was just what my partner and I were looking for -- with the Metro close and the MetroBus closer, by surrounded a wide variety of inexpensive food options from supermarket to street vendors but still within brisk walking distance of the Zocalo and Chapultepec Park.
The apartment itself was quiet, sunny, well appointed and perfectly comfortable. After a walk to the supermarket I had no trouble working up some chilaquiles in the kitchen for breakfast, the wifi was fast and reliable, and the art and books on hand an adventure in themselves.
You think you have a sense of how big Mexico City is, and then you spend a week running across the city only to be overwhelmed by the how much more there still is to learn about how much you don't know.
And whenever we got overwhelmed, we had a perfect place to return to and refresh and reorient ourselves.
I know I'd like to return, and probably stay a bit longer next time. Thanks, Maris!
Maris was a wonderful host. She was very hands-on and waited for 1.5hrs past our original meeting time as I was stuck in customs. In addition, she provided a lot of information on the city and the neighbourhood, and arranged for us to be picked up by a car on the morning. The apartment is very well located and has everything you could need for your trip to Mexico City.
We stayed at Maris's lovely apartment for a week during November. The apartment was very well located, close to a metro station and in a very safe area where we felt safe walking home even later in the evening. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Maris and her daughter greeted us when we arrived and were both really friendly and helpful. Later in the week Maris also contacted some of her friends to help us with our travel plans and could not have been more helpful. Thanks for a great stay!
A fantastic place to stay. Wonderful location, neat and tidy flat with great artwork on the wall. Unfortunately we didn't meet Maris, but she communicated with us regularly and was very hospitable. The flat had all the crockery and cutlery that are needed to cook for yourself. All in all, a terrific experience!
Maris was a very generous and helpful host. Her apartment is very cute, not cluttered at all, which I like, and was the perfect fit for the week's stay. Location was in Zona Roma which I liked very much, very close to MetroBus and a taxi stand. WiFi, phone, TV (in Spanish of course!), water cooler, printer, great things to have in the apartment. Bring extra towels for yourself. Water pressure in shower very low, but that has nothing to do with Maris. She also offered to get a taxi for our trip back to the airport. Maris was a very good host in that if I wanted her help, I believe for pretty much anything, it was there for the asking. She did not push. I would definitely stay here again, and I know I will since my son will be living in Mexico City.
Maris and her family were very nice and took care of the apartment. We hope to see you here again! And dont forguet that since you already stayed with us we will extend a 10% off over the regular rate for you or any of your family in your next vacations with us!
